was this supposed to be a training montage. the story was what happened TO him and the story of what he discovered and did about things Ended when he was captured, near the beginning.

The MC background and manner and expected knowledge, were Not used or ignored throughout the story. Cultivator lines have no place on his lips, not his origin.

Epic Exotic SEX!
These books are worth just the sex scenes 😍.

The set pace had little preamble to sudden changes.

the MC and friends didn't have any quibbles, debates, or hesitations, unless it was it was for a mid-life crisis or shout-out point of big characteristics. (or off scene)

The world and storyline are epic!
However, this book reads like it was translated.
1/4 the descriptions deserved
1/2 the character
1/4 the comprehension
1/3 the Due process
zero foreshadowing
1/9 just wrong.

there is alot of mystery and drama that that the (original/talented) writer of the book directly hinted at the MC not noticing. But then the majority of the book filled with just statements and conclusive outcomes without build or process, like the finisher of the book was a 14 year old who did it as a homework assignment.

Two steps back
Great emerson and world building.
but the MCs barely made any progress.
No plot, that feels more like a MMORPG or a D&D session written painful out by the DM.

He is too perfect . The Phoenix fight was disjointed and oddly sweet. When the game warped around them and Updated repeatedly, I was RTFLMAO when the players only noticed when an Update was spelled out in their Quest Log. "Red-Alert!"
It seems a flaw that The Syndicate isn't obviously watching his progress and planning sessions on his twitch account.

ODDLY, the most interesting THINGS about this book is what isn't explained or written about going on around the main character.
This story follows a Archetype of a normal school girl with problems bigger than she can understand. Mostly through her heavy "eye-blinders" and lack of focus, we desurn she isn't catching the goings-on all around herself.
However, readers who go back to the beginning of the story and watch Eve's actions from the perspective of those around her, misunderstanding and all, we see the ironic twists of fate bringing about the birth of a extraordinary woman, respected by all, ... except her teachers.
