Historia
Matt Rife is well aware that he’s both the most loved and the most controversial comic in America today. And honestly, he thinks that’s your problem. Matt reveals (without apology, of course) what led him to becoming comedy’s biggest lightning rod before he reached thirty, in a story full of bold and hysterical takes on everything from Justin Bieber tramp stamps and rap battles with ex-cons to Matt’s struggles with depression and his many brushes with failure before finally hitting it big.

Great job — so nice to hear the journey that got you where you are. I love stories of persistence and never giving up. Thanks for making me laugh, smile, and even blush at times. Congratulations on your success and I look forward to book #2 where you talk about meeting your wife and having kids of your own ♥️

Historia
It is three in the morning when Bobby Western plunges from the Coast Guard tender into darkness. His dive light illuminates the sunken jet, nine bodies still buckled in their seats, hair floating, eyes devoid of speculation. Missing from the site are the pilot’s bag, the plane’s black box, and the tenth passenger. A collateral witness to machinations that can only bring him harm, Western is shadowed in body and spirit—by men with badges; by the ghost of his father, inventor of the bomb that melted glass and flesh in Hiroshima; and by his sister, the love and ruin of his soul.

A new look at addiction and resilience
Revisado: 11-19-22
Everyone loves Chandler from Friends. He’s a
nice, guy next-door. He’s cute he’s lovable, smart and friendly. Getting to know Matthew Perry in this book is extraordinary. His life struggles are extraordinary. It put addiction in words for people who don’t struggle with that particular issue. It’s brought awareness about what the addict is going through, and I didn’t think it was possible, but I adore and respect Matthew Perry, so much more after hearing this story and what he’s gone through in his life. I am a registered nurse who was married to an addict, the pairing I’m told is quite common. I never understood what was going on in his head. Sadly, he passed away from complications of his addictions. Matthew was saved to tell a story and to inspire and educate. God bless you and thank you for sharing your life with us.

Historia
Margot and James are broken up—for good this time. James made sure of it when he dropped the bomb on Margot: that he doesn’t want kids, ever. Then, on the biggest morning of his life, James—an ambitious lawyer at a high-powered firm—wakes up pregnant. He realizes with dread that he is part of a recent epidemic of men suddenly and inexplicably becoming pregnant. His condition obvious to the higher-ups, James is denied the promotion he was expecting, sending him reeling.

Required listening for all men
Revisado: 05-21-22
Jodi does an eloquent job in such a short time of giving the listener an overview of the emotions a woman goes through when faced with a pregnancy. The different situations were spot on and things men never think about. When immersing myself in the story I found a lightness in my step imagining what it would be like to not be concerned about an unwanted pregnancy. Thank you for this people need to hear it

A way to look logically at the Pandemic
Revisado: 09-06-20
My friend said he didn’t want to listen to this because Dr. Gupta is on CNN and did not want a liberal view on the pandemic. Dr. Gupta does a great job explaining his view as a neurosurgeon and the effects of all aspects of the pandemic on his children and us. For anyone who is concerned, it is not a political piece it is a logical piece and I highly recommend it

At the heart of it is their eldest son, Michael, a brilliant, anxious music fanatic who makes sense of the world through parody.

It is a DIFFERENT Morganville
Revisado: 10-28-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
NO would not reccommend. I have listened to all the Moragnville books so far and I can't even finish this one.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I'm sure the story is great, but I would rather read this one than listen, probably will buy the paperback.
How could the performance have been better?
There is a new person reading this story and, in my opinion does a poor job. the narration has more emotion than the characters. the narration is sharp and hard to listen to. The charachters all sound like they are on valium or high, there is no emotion. It is very hard to listen to the story as the last reader did wonderful voices for the characters. I can't finish the book
Do you think Black Dawn needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I think it needs a re-read by Cynthia Holloway and more books as this is a great story
Any additional comments?
PLEASE - Have Cynthia Holloway re-read this; I would even buy it again to hear the story with some emotion

Where does The End of the Affair rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This story is one of the best audio books I have listened to. If yo uor anyone you know has experienced the heart ache of an affair this story will give you perspective from both sides of the pain. I highly recommend it.
