(the app submitted before I finished)

The author's fatal error is forgetting that most of the attributes he asks the listener to have are innate and impossible to learn by simply being told to have them.

Thus it feels as if this book is better suited as a refresher for those that have been successful with the attributes...or don't know how powerful they are and simply need to unlock them (think unattractive, short, overweight dude but is funny and entertaining with the gift of gab yet doesn't realize that's really all it takes to get the girl).

For anyone else I feel it would be an effort in futility asking a square peg to fit in a round role (pardon the pun).

Giving this 4 stars may seem harsh. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and having AB narrate...I wouldn't have wanted any other way. The only reason I knocked it down a star was for a certain literary style Anthony used that became (only mildly) annoying. I call it "list"ing...listing... when describing whatever the topic, he would rattle off a half dozen examples in this sort of cadence. It was like, we get it AB, you're brilliant at your craft and have mastery over many languages, at least when it comes to food. He stopped doing it in the second half of the book and, again, this is just me being a little book Karen about it.🙄
