Historia
In the past, Christians could easily answer the question of whether or not it was permissible to use cannabis by deferring to state prohibitions. We could simply say, “It’s against the law.” Today, that answer is no longer possible. Christians are now forced to do what they should have been doing all along: Think like disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and bring to bear the wisdom of the sufficient word of God.

Excellent
Revisado: 12-10-21
Todd Miles has written an excellent overview to an important subject from a biblical perspective. He doesn't overstate things, and he doesn't make unfair comparisons. Worth the read!

Powerful and life-changing story
Revisado: 06-21-21
Such an incredible story of how this young religious zealot was transformed by the grace and mercy of God. Jesus Christ is lifted up as the true Lord and Savior, who saves us completely through His payment on the cross. What a powerful book that will shake up the way you have thought about biblical Christianity and its unique message of forgiveness and hope!

Powerful Book on Prayer
Revisado: 08-26-20
I loved Groeschel's down to earth approach to prayer. He draws on Scripture and experience to show why in order to grow and become all that God intends for us to be in this world, we must lift up dangerous prayers. It's a book that puts a lot of emphasis on the way God shapes us and molds us through open, real and genuine prayer, rather than offering up trite statements thoughtlessly. It's one I'll come back to again and again!

Historia
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

So Glad I Read This!!!
Revisado: 07-30-20
Crenshaw is just an all-around stand up guy. He's a man of character, humility, and courage. He represents the true American spirit of standing for what you believe in, but not tearing down those who oppose you. GREAT READ!!!
