I'm a current DreamCatcher so my opinion could be bias. Tiffany's perspective and advice in this book is useful and explained. Humor sprinkled within to keep your attention as well. The assignments are thought provoking and makes me really take another look at what and where I'm going financially. This book is a tool to reference throughout my GGWM journey.

Craziness

Storyline was wild, but kept my attention. At times I thought the story was predictable, but wrong. Narrator's impersonations were good. I found it funny she made all the front line workers to be dry and non helpful each time they dealt with the first lady. Epilogue was shocking.

As a kid Smokey's voice was too much! All the slow songs and how it held a key for minutes. Too smooth. Ha! My family LOVED him, especially my granny. As a kid you don't appreciate soul music as you should and not as interested in the value of a wonderful back story. So glad I've matured and understand history is life. This book provides heritage and history of a powerhouse genre. I remember very song, but learning the back story and Smokey's contribution was wonderful. Thank you Audible for giving us more insight to a phenomenal living legend.

Enjoyed the narrator. The story gives insight to persons with mental disabilities and their struggles in society with others that are "normal." Their value is just as important as others in society. Their independence is even greater. An enjoyable story.

Powerful and Thought Provoking

It took me some time to get through the book for my own reasons. Once I fully committed to each chapters content I was moved by the author's candid teaching. Self reflective, written with care and absolutely empowering. The narrator had a comforting voice too. This was my first Sarah Jakes Robert's book. It will not be my last.

A fun storyline and the narrator was enjoyable. I smiled throughout this book while listening. It even made me take a minute to evaluate my own self care and plan a mom-springa. A carefree read spring/summer read.

Lightly dark yet funny

The storyline was funny. A bit sarcastic, but I did not mind at all. Some books can become a turn off for me to finish. Twists and did not expect the ending. Loved the narrative and characters were in sync. The outro sing was longer than I wanted to listen.

Worthwhile

Initially the storyline was somber then changed to empowerment. The main character was misunderstood by many that later became adored. Nicely written.
