Historia
1897. Rowena Blythe is wealthy, entitled and beautiful. As her twenty-fourth birthday approaches, she’s expected to marry—and to marry well. Her parents commission a portrait of Rowena to help cement her reputation as a great society beauty. However, Bartek, the artist’s young assistant, is unlike any man Rowena has met before—wild, romantic and Bohemian. While society at large awaits the announcement of Rowena’s engagement, it is Bartek who captures Rowena’s heart along with her likeness.

Hang in there
Revisado: 03-01-23
I almost gave up on this story. It begins a bit shallow. Hang in there! The story takes off and the characters feel like friends. I love Tracy Rees, if you haven’t read Amy Snow and Florence Grace…do not pass go, start downloading. Enjoy

Among them - without their family's consent or knowledge - are Rita and Rosie.

I never write reviews
Revisado: 08-22-21
I absolutely loved this book. Yes, it’s sad and at time hard to listen. It’s so worth it! This book kept my interest the whole book, I couldn’t stop listening. I have over 600 books in my library and this is in my top 20. I hope you enjoy this beautifully written story.

Historia
Raymond Jaffe feels like he doesn’t belong. Not with his mother’s new family. Not as a weekend guest with his father and his father’s wife. Not at school, where he’s an outcast. After his best friend moves away, Raymond has only two real connections: to the feral cat he’s tamed and to a blind ninety-two-year-old woman in his building who’s introduced herself with a curious question: Have you seen Luis Velez?

Not what’s it’s cracked up to be!
Revisado: 05-16-19
The first half is pretty good but, the second half is painfully boring. If your okay with hours of learning about ricotta cheese and olive oil then this is your book.

Horrible Narration, Great Story
Revisado: 10-22-17
This is one of my favorite series. The first several books have a different narrator that was fantastic. She passed away and the person who replaced her is so bad. Almost unlistenable.
I would recommend reading the this book instead of listening.
