Historia
Someone has tried to kill the French president. How many snipers can shoot from three-quarters of a mile with total confidence? John Kott—a U.S. Army marksman gone bad—is one of them. After fifteen years in prison, he’s out . . . and there’s a G8 summit coming up, packed with enough world leaders to tempt any assassin.

Read a few reviews before you buy
Revisado: 10-21-14
Don't be tempted to purchase this book simply because some of the others in the series were good. This book is very poorly done. The entire storyline wouldn't fill 10 pages. The rest is droning filler. It was so painful to get through that I'm done with this series.

PLEASE RE-RECORD
Revisado: 07-09-13
I don't usually consider the performance as top priority, but the performance and recording here ruins the entire work. You constantly have to twist the volume control because Kilban goes from mumbling to screaming in a single sentence. I'm a BIG Mitch Rapp fan, but I'll forget about trying to finish this one and buy the printed version.

Excellent Work
Revisado: 07-03-13
I originally skipped books 3 and 4 in the series due to the bad performance reviews. Don't make the same mistake. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Mr. Sullivan's performance. Ignore the bad performance reviews and judge for yourself. Five stars from me all the way across.

Whatever you do, ignore the negative reviews of this work and try it for yourself. Excellent story line, excellent narration. Do read/listen to the first book in the series first. Can't wait for book 3!

Historia
In a case that spans 20 years, Harry Bosch links the bullet from a recent crime to a file from 1992, the killing of a young female photographer during the L.A. riots. Harry originally investigated the murder, but it was then handed off to the Riot Crimes Task Force and never solved. Now Bosch's ballistics match indicates that her death was not random violence, but something more personal, and connected to a deeper intrigue. Like an investigator combing through the wreckage after a plane crash, Bosch searches for the "black box", the one piece of evidence that will pull the case together.

Why all the ruckus?
Revisado: 12-12-12
I didn't buy this audio when it was first released due to the bad narrator ratings. Then I decided to give it a try. Maybe it's me, but I don't see the problem. The narrator may be a beat slower and more monotone between voices, but I don't listen to audiobooks to be entertained by the narrator. His reading and diction were fine. The conversations were easy to follow, and I believe the narrator did a good job. The story is excellent.

Four people in a car, hoping to make Chicago by morning. One man driving, eyes on the road. Another man next to him, telling stories that don’t add up. A woman in the back, silent and worried. And next to her, a huge man with a broken nose, hitching a ride east to Virginia.

Did Lee Child really write this one?
Revisado: 09-24-12
I too am a Lee Child/Reacher fan, but this one is way off the mark. Entirely too much detail that adds no value to the story line. No one wants to hear about every blade of grass in a 10-mile drive, or spend 20 minutes listening to the description of a key with scratches on the end of it, or why those scratches might be there. I was constantly rewinding because the story is hard to follow amid the humdrum. This entire book could easily be consolidated into a two-hour short story. Avoid this one and hope the next work is better.
