Historia
Jade, the mysterious and magical substance once exclusive to the Green Bone warriors of Kekon, is now coveted throughout the world. Everyone wants access to the supernatural abilities it provides, from traditional forces such as governments, mercenaries, and criminal kingpins, to modern players, including doctors, athletes, and movie studios. As the struggle over the control of jade grows ever larger and more deadly, the Kaul family, and the ancient ways of the Kekonese Green Bones, will never be the same.

An incredible ending to a beautiful story

One of the best trilogies I've ever read! This was a great way to end a truly incredible series.

Historia
In the near future, the constitution is outlawed, the government is ceremonial at best, and the country is about to lose her name. No one knows how this happened or why America prostrated herself to the kind of foreign forces who would impose obedience through compliance. Resistors call the occupation “creeping death”. Those countries grabbing at the reins of power see it for what it is - a full-scale invasion.

Interesting story
Revisado: 01-13-23
Interesting story but there are a couple of things that bother me. At the beginning of the story the west coast is occupied by China and the rest of the would be united states is basically a war ground being fought over by China, South America, Europe, Africa and Canada. The author intimated that the US just sort of imploded and easily capitulated to these invading forces. There really was no explanation for how this came about. How did one of the world's foremost super powers just collapse and let the rest of the world walk all over them?
Also this writer seems to be obsessed with awkward sex. I mean it's the apocalypse and most of the characters are way too worried about when they're going to get some. And when they do it's so freaking awkward it's hard to read. Those are my only minor issues with the book. Overall it's enjoyable and entertaining.
