Historia
What if you could live in a world where the guidance of those who were gone was available, right at your very fingertips? It's possible, if we are open to it. Anyone can reclaim the forgotten guidance of the dead, and anyone can return to the realm of magic and miracles. In Take Back the Magic: Conversations with the Unseen World, author, spiritual teacher, and co-founder of The Way of the Rose Perdita Finn reveals that life is beginningless, love is endless, and those who have passed don’t truly go anywhere when they die.

I kind of struggled a bit with what felt like a slow beginning, but then it moved so quickly...I couldn't stop listening. In the end this was such a powerful audio book that I'm purchasing the hard copy to linger in some of the more dense places. Thank you Christopher Bache for this important work.

Historia
A paradigm-shifting book in the vein of Sapiens that brings a crucial Indigenous perspective to historical and cultural issues of history, education, money, power, and sustainability - and offers a new template for living. As an indigenous person, Tyson Yunkaporta looks at global systems from a unique perspective, one tied to the natural and spiritual world. In considering how contemporary life diverges from the pattern of creation, he raises important questions. How does this affect us? How can we do things differently?

I've listened to it twice and I'm sure will listen again. This is chock full of wonderful stories, adventures and lessons. There is no preaching, with a healthy dose of "this is what I learned". it opens up for me a new, more holistic and inclusive perspective. I am so grateful for this book. The inherent complexity and systemic nature of aboriginal ways of being, thinking, and doing touch places in me that deeply resonate. Narrated by the author, his transmission comes through with the text. Enjoy!

Revisado: 07-23-21
I expected it to be a little funny and certainly interesting, but it went WAY beyond my expectations. Trevor had a fascinating life, and this book is incredibly rich. I learned so much about what it was like before and after Apartheid in South Africa from an on the ground, in the world perspective. I had no idea. It was fascinating, fun, in some places heart breaking, and overall, I'm so grateful that I heard this audiobook. A very unique perspective of a piece of world history about which I had absolutely no idea. Thank you, Trevor.

Historia
Author Cynthia Bourgeault investigates the imaginal realm - an energetic realm well known to the mystical traditions but often forgotten in our own times. It is invisible to the physical eye, but clearly perceptible through the eye of the heart. The imaginal realm has long been associated with the personal world of dreams, prophecy, and oracles, and it also points toward a higher vision of our human purpose that is both evolutionary and collective. Bourgeault explores both aspects of imaginal reality and tells listeners how we can cooperate more fully with its guidance in our lives.

earth shattering book, annoying difficult narrator
Revisado: 04-21-21
As much as I'm blown away by the magnitude of this work, I'm also finding it very hard to listen to this narrator. I wish the author had narrated the book herself. Her transmission would flow through to the reader as well.I'm frustrated listening to this annoying narrator. I'm sure she's a wonderful person, but her reading of this book is truly painful to listen to.

Historia
One thousand years ago in the valley of Kashmir, a great Tantric master named Ksemaraja wrote his masterpiece: the Pratyabhijna-hrdaya, which means "The Essence of the Recognition Philosophy" - recognition, that is, of oneself as a direct expression of the universal divine Consciousness. Recognition also that this Consciousness is, in truth, all that exists, and that its five fundamental powers of awareness, enjoyment, willing, knowing, and acting are the sacred endowments of every sentient being.

PDF and YES! Beautiful and transmissive
Revisado: 08-31-20
For those who've reviewed the audiobook but can't find the pdf, I couldn't either. So for those still looking for the pdf:
After some searching around, I found it by clicking into Audible.com, then click on Library, then there was this book at the top, with an option for the pdf. It was not available on the cloud player page where I listen to the book on my laptop. The pdf was available on my android phone, also in library, then this title.
That all said... AWESOME and transmissive. Definitely worth the time and contemplation. May this serve you and all beings.
