Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind provides a fresh perspective on the evolution of humans and the impact on world history. Well written and thought provoking. Helps reader to understand common human behavior and speculates what may come next for our flawed species. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

In Washington: A Life celebrated biographer Ron Chernow provides a richly nuanced portrait of the father of our nation. This crisply paced narrative carries the reader through his troubled boyhood, his precocious feats in the French and Indian War, his creation of Mount Vernon, his heroic exploits with the Continental Army, his presiding over the Constitutional Convention, and his magnificent performance as America's first president.

Excellent and thorough biography of George Washington
Revisado: 09-22-18
Well written and performed. It is not just the story of the man who became a legend but a looking glass into the struggles, trials, and tribulations that the colonists had to overcome to found a free nation against all odds. I would recommend this to anyone interested in the history of the founding of the United States.

The Lady in Gold, considered an unforgettable masterpiece, one of the 20th century's most recognizable paintings, made headlines all over the world when Ronald Lauder bought it for $135 million a century after Klimt, the most famous Austrian painter of his time, completed the society portrait. Fascinating tragic story of Adele Bloch Bauer
Revisado: 07-18-18
The story of the Lady in Gold is told through the works of Gustav Klimt and the history of the Bloch-Bauer and other prominent Jewish families of Vienna. The book is well written and captured my imagination placing me in 20th century Vienna during WWII and the present. I would recommend the book.
