Historia
The fourth book in the NYT best-selling Expanse series, Cibola Burn sees the crew of the Rocinante on a new frontier, as the rush to colonize the new planets threatens to outrun law and order and give way to war and chaos. Enter a new frontier. "An empty apartment, a missing family, that's creepy. But this is like finding a military base with no one on it. Fighters and tanks idling on the runway with no drivers. This is bad juju. Something wrong happened here. What you should do is tell everyone to leave".

How could the performance have been better?
So glad this was re-done by Jefferson Mays. Book 4 was easily my most hated of the series because of the narration change... I don't want to say the different narrator was bad, it just was...different... 3 books with one reader, you get used to the voices for each character, the pacing, the diction... it's damn disorienting when you have a new voice for the characters. It was so drastic that it feels like I can't actually judge the content of the book on its own merit. Excited to give this title another look with the voice I associate with the Expanse.

Any additional comments?
This was a charmingly straightforward book with a beautiful setting and interesting characters. The reader really made the book come to life with a great variety of lovely accents!
