Dr. Kendi lays out the many ways that racism in its many forms infiltrate our lives and our society and how we should become anti-racist. While I had a general understanding of the issues, this book provides context, history, and personal witness to racist policies and behaviors.

A crazy true story, told well

I had to keep reminding myself that this book was nonfiction. What seemed like the telling of a fictional story from multiple points of view in a retrospective novel is actually a well-researched telling of a true story from eyewitness accounts and records. Carson Vaughan does an excellent job of telling this wild story from his native Nebraska.

I was supremely annoyed by the waste of space for droning drums. I bought an audiobook, not a new age song. I love Gaiman's work, but I felt cheated by the lack of content in this program. I was so upset after listening that I really considered asking for a credit refund.
