Not Nearly as Good as the Podcast

The variety of relationships that she covered.

This book gave me quite a few answers to the why's I was left with after a few relationships that did not end well. I found much commonality with the patients that shared their stories. Even though the stories were all very different, I could relate to the feelings shared. The doctor’s insight, understanding, empathy and encouragement of looking at a problem from another person's prospective was refreshing. I love that she helped people to understand that the definition does not have to fit into a box that can be checked off. I love that she made it a safe space for all of her patients and let them feel welcome and that they mattered.

Working for me so far..

I'm listening to & from work. Each lesson takes approximately 30 mintues, which works out great, since that is the length of my commute. I listen the same lesson 2x a day and it seems like it's helping stick to my memory! Just wish more a few seconds longer was allotted for student's response time.
