Thrilling and beautifully told.

This was a fantastic classic. It is not fast-paced like modern thrillers but has a beautifully woven plot and keeps the reader enthralled until the end.

Captivating and clean
Revisado: 02-16-18
What made the experience of listening to The Great Divide the most enjoyable?
The story line was intriguing with both law and personal stories interwoven.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes. I found myself thinking throughout the day of the case and evidence.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending of course!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Cry. Can't say anymore or I would reveal too much.
Any additional comments?
It is great to hear a book that isn't filled with profanity and sex. The situations are real and representative of society with out smut. A great book.

Captivating and sensitive
Revisado: 12-21-17
This book is the third in the series. It is by far my favorite of all three. The first novel takes place from the point of view of a southern white person, and the second novel from the point of view of northern white person. This third book is from a slaves point of view who used to belong to the family in the first novel. I found the book engaging with a fabulous plot. I learned so much and highly recommend it.
