Society Lawyer meets free clinic doctor

I received this audio book for free in exchang for a review. I liked the story and it hooked me from the beginning. Sophie, runs a free clinic in the bad part of the city. Calib is a rich lawyer who just so happen to practice family law. They were supposed to attend a fundraiser but their date is derailed when a pregnant teenager is rushed to the clinic in labor. When Sophie cancels the date Calib worries she is in trouble. He shows up just in time to witness the birth of the baby and hear the story the teen shares. This young girl just had the child of a powerful man and she needs protection and legal advice. The story was interesting and I enjoyed how Sophie and Calib fell in love while working together. Julie and Marble were interesting characters and I wished that we cold have gotten to know a back story on them.
I was dissapointed as the narrator seemed to just be reading the book to me and would pause at odd times. She seemed to get a little better further in the story. Another odd thing was when she started a new chapter she spoke louder and faster in a cheerful voice but then dropped back to the regular voice through the rest of the chapter. I wish she at least changed her voice when she read the male conversations.

Holy Apocalyptic Wowzer!

This Exciting Conclusion was so good. I am in love with all these characters and feel like I was going through it all right along with them. it is always a pleasure to listen to the narration of a book when it is done by a good narrator. Therese Plummer and Luke Daniels performance was excellent. Both of them brought ever single character voice to life from the smallest child's voice to the gruffest old man. I loved all of the characters but loved Eric and Sylvie from the beginning. I think it was because they were not cookie cutter perfect people. Even some of the bad guys made you have some empathy for them. They were flawed and had interesting back stories to explain why they were the way they were. I laughed at funny moments and got tearful in the sad moments in the story. loved it.

So Good

Love this story. Book 2 continues with the group going on missions to find food and there are lots of zombies. They meet new people and loose some people too. Eric and Sylvie take a trip to the cabin in hopes to find his sister. I like how they grow closer throughout the story. Book 2 ends with sadness and a few questions of what happened to some from the group. Can't wait to find out what happens in book 3. Really like this author, The characters are great and so well well written that I feel like they are friends.

Romantic mystery

I received this audio book for free. I love a murder mystery romance. A.D. Ellis is a new author for me and I liked the story and the characters. I liked following Drakes progress with solving the murders. It was fate that brought Liam back in his life. It was so darn sweet how Drake fell in love with Liam. I kind of wish the story wasn't over yet because I am not ready to let these guys go yet. Guess I will have to see what other books I can find by this author.

Loved it! Loved the post apocalypse world. Loved the story of Sylvie and Eric. Loved the battles for survival and the war against the villain.

I'd like to crash land on this planet!

Hot Alien on a Hot Sand Planet! If I were a bad-assed bounty hunter babe and I had to crash on any planet in the galaxy please let me get stranded here with these hot alien men! I really liked the story. The writer built an intriguing planet with a number of alien characters. The characters were interesting and evoked empathy from me when they discussed loosing their fathers. The story was a romance with some hot sexy-time scenes but also had some action and and suspense thrown in. The narrators did a pretty good job of bringing the characters to life. The female narrator started out sounding like she was just reading the script but she must get comfortable because she does a great job with the voices of each female by the end of the book. The male narrator also did great and wow he does a fantastic sexy voice. Overall it is a really enjoyable book to listen to. It is mostly romance with immediate attraction with some light action, adventure and suspense. There is a really good cliffhanger at the end that has me hooked. I can't wait to get the next book so I can hear what happens next.

I was give this book for free. Cute story. Fast paced. I thought that would be more magical description. I enjoyed the crime solving and the quirky characters. The narrator seemed distracted as she read the story with gaps and pauses I the wrong spots. so the flow of the sentences was just not right.

Unconditional Love

I was given this book for free. This was a new author for me and I am really enjoying it so far. I have never read or listened to anything like this before. The story is about the relationship between a woman, her ex-husband and his brother. I was impressed by the unconditional love she has for her ex despite the fact that he divorced her because he realized he was gay. Much of her life revolves around that friendship between her and her ex insofar that she puts him first before another guy. Being once married has forged a strong bond of love and evolved into a friendship that neither can live without. When she meets her ex's brother there is some really hot chemistry between them. It is love and loyalty that keeps them from pursuing a relationship of anything but friendship with each other. This is a unique story with some really intriguing character relationships. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing the story and characters to life. I am looking forward the the next book in the series so I can see what happens next.

I was given a free copy of this book. Thomas is given his first mission and can not fail or he will loose his brother. Great story. Loved the voice of the narrator. Can't wait to read/listen to the next book!

I received this book for free in exchange for a honest review. this was a new author for me. I love a good romantic suspense. This story had my complete attention the whole way through. I couldn't stop listening. I loved how Hope, a investigative reporter and Erik, an FBI agent woeked together. I don't mind some BDSM stories but felt this was one of the most informational on the subject. While Erik is teaching Hope about BDSM he also explains it so well that I actually don't roll my eyes and think "oh no not another BDSM book." I really liked how. the subject was presented and I actually understand it more now. Also the narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life. I really liked the story and will be looking to read/listen to more stories by this author.
