What a wonderful ride Blake and Nero took me on

I have loved all of Gabrielle Sands books and audios. Nero and Blake add to that wonderful collection. This audiobook is the duet pair to When He Desires new elements are brought to this duo to test their relationship but also to test their individual selves.

It’s a mafia romance so there’s violence and love mixed in it but I loved the hints of dark comedy that Nero sprinkles every now and again. Definitely worth a listen but I recommend getting both books at the same time because the second you finish the first, you’ll NEED to start the second. Enjoy!

Such a cute forced proximity/ second chance

I was hooked into this audiobook because of Angelina Rocca being in it and I stayed for the wonderful author’s story (and Sean Masters, of course!).

These two MCs have one heck of a history and a windy road to HEA. It all starts with a grandma’s will and just continues from there.

Tropes: enemies to lovers, second chance, marriage of convenience and forced proximity.

It’s a bit silly and fun without eliminating some very real emotional moments. Dual narration

Another fave in the bag!!

I love Brittanee Nicole’s writing. This latest Langfield, Gavin, has one of the most in depth and long road to finding his HEA. Yes, there’s an age gap but Nicole weaves the age difference and romance with so many enough moments of truths that ground the story while still giving you awe-inspiring moments. I loved Beckett but Gavin has seriously dethroned his older brother.

Jason Clarke and Avery Caris did an amazing job giving Gavin and Millie life while also honoring the characters who have had their own books.

Such a beautiful second chance romance

I enjoyed seeing these two find each other so many years later. The book felt like a story about two adults and the tropes that usually annoy me with this kind of story nowhere to be seen. Just two wonderful human beings falling for each other, again. He was protective of her from the beginning and she still had feelings since finding out she was going to work for his company. So good! And the side characters? I’m such a sucker for great auxiliary characters who build a world around your MCs.

The narrators *chefs kiss* but what do expect from these two pros.

Best of the series!!

When she unravels had been my favorite book of Gabrielle Sands till this one came across. I usually wait till the audio but I couldn’t with this one. I read it first and then second the audio came out, I used my credit faster than it could download lol.and as with all audio experiences, the narrators being the story to life.

Cleo like her sisters has lived a very cold and trauma-filled life. She’s become accustomed to being denigrated and not aiming for much. In comes Rafaele, who has his own set of trauma, but is able to awaken Cleo’s true personality while helping her heal her self esteem. A beautiful arranged marriage mafia with a good balance of suspense, emotion and interesting spice.

The narrators hit it out of the park for me. Teddy Hamilton is a fav and I know I will never be disappointed when he’s narrating a book. Michelle Sparks is a new narrator to me but she gave so much life to Cleo’s strong personality and her sense of humor. Definitely worth the listen.

Can’t get “My Lady” out of my head lol

Very cute story about two very different humans who because of a series of unfortunate events get married. Papaya’s antics will leave you laughing your head off while Peach and Victor’s very real humanity will grab at your heart strings.

I had no doubt that so many narrators would come together and create something as funny, entertaining and delightful as these audio plays but they surpassed my expectations. And the bloopers… what a nice extra treat!

Felt like a play more than a book

The multi-cast dialogue had me re-checking if this narration was a play or a book. The comedy was so good, I was laughing out loud while reading. Trilina Pucci has a special gift when it comes to spicy - and I mean SPICY- scenes. Do not listen in public places lol.

Overall a fun, spicy book that when narrated, feels like a play.

Love, love, loooove this one

Read it in a day. CJ Bloom is one of my favorite narrators and Joe Arden never fails. Together they brought to life Shain Rose’s world filled with my favorite elements of a good romance: great spice, HEA love story, real world elements that don’t take you away from the illusion but ground you into the story. I felt like I knew these characters. Definitely recommend.
