Historia
When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run - and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss...

Historia
With his characteristic eyebrow-raising behavior, Richard P. Feynman once provoked the wife of a Princeton dean to remark, "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" But the many scientific and personal achievements of this Nobel Prize-winning physicist are no laughing matter. Here, woven with his scintillating views on modern science, Feynman relates the defining moments of his accomplished life.

Decades of self-help volumes have said here's the answer; do what we say and It All Gets Better. And while what they suggest may be right for some people, it's never right for everyone. If you're tired of authors telling you what to do, be, or have without taking into account who you are to begin with, this is your book. Clean Out Your LifeCloset encourages you to write your own story of change based on your history, your life experiences, and your personal goals.

Glad I have this book on paper
Revisado: 03-01-18
This audiobook was great to hear as I love to hear Corbie's voice. Many times I found myself answering out loud to her questions and wish I wasn't driving but somewhere else with a notepad. I'm glad to have this same book on paper too as it was easier for me to do the work from each lesson. I must admit though, I have plenty of catching up to do.
The best part of the book is that it gave me a sense that I belong where I am, with the problems I have because I created them for my own growth. The lessons have helped me realize how I was able to solve some and how I should have been able to proceed after them.
Corbie's simplicity in explaining each situation as if she was actually there gave me hope that everything is doable. each and every lesson gives you a good sample and a set of tools to use that only applies to you.
Bravo!

Historia
As a child in small-town Oklahoma, Elizabeth Warren yearned to go to college and then become an elementary school teacher - an ambitious goal, given her family’s modest means. Early marriage and motherhood seemed to put even that dream out of reach, but 15 years later she was a distinguished law professor with a deep understanding of why people go bankrupt. Then came the phone call that changed her life: could she come to Washington, DC, to help advise Congress on rewriting the bankruptcy laws?

Smart and concerned individuals are hard to find
Revisado: 05-15-17
Senator Warren gives us a peek into her life and how smart, concerned citizens are still found in this great Nation. it is sad to hear how big banks planned to create a new kind of slave, the American credit borrower. These large economic power houses are alive and well, and continue to work each and every day creating new ways to screw all those in the low and middle class. A big thank you to Sen. Warren for showing us that with will and perseverance anyone can get the job done.

It opened my eyes and validated my inner truth
Revisado: 03-26-12
As I grew up in a Catholic home, going to a military/religious private school in Latin American country and seeing the contrast of culture and expectancy, I always thought that there was more than what I was being taught. Pictures in my head, dreams and the premonition that I was not to stay there for long always gave me confidence. Everything I experienced as I crossed my childhood was just temporary. Prior knowledge of how things work were always within me, somehow I knew how things worked and how things were to get better.
Dr. Michael Newton placed his career in peril as he put together information from many cases into a simple 'audio' book.We live in a secular world where religion plays an important part of everyone's identity. Dr. Newton did well in not attacking any religious concept, he simply placed the patient's experience from their own perspective. As we continue listening to the narration it forms in our minds a perfect place of being - perhaps our notion of "physical heaven". And yet, it is unique and individual to each listener based on their background and experience.
The different voices used thrugout the audiobook helps with perspective. A well tuned set of voices from three great readers, Chris Bogart, Amy Hill and Stephen O'hara. A great balance of voices and people as their past lives are brought to the here and now. How each patient tries to communicate, experience and assimilate the information given to them. Yet each individual's life is not spoiled by showing what the future might bring.
Hear this book with an open mind. This is one of my favorite books that keep popping up on my iPhone - to hear whenever I feel life is bringing me challenges not yet understood. This pleases me as I ponder and face my new challenges with renewed confidence that I will be able to surmount. We all create our lives before we are born in them. This knowledge will allow us to understand that whatever problem life trows at us, was designed and engineered by ourselves for our own expansion.
