It is a pity...
Revisado: 06-02-24
It is a pity that such creativeness is marred by such lazy uncreative foul language.
On one had the author uses such amazing creative language and then ruins it with every day foul language. "Fuck you" etc.
Why go to such amazing beautiful lengths with such amazing language only to do this?
with the exception of the foul language, the story was well thought out and moved well. I really appreciated how he worked it. there was a little reaching but mostly creative thought with the storyline. the ending however was suddenly there with a mega loose end.
The narrator was next level amazing. he was great to listen to.

Easiest 5 overall I have been able to give.
Revisado: 02-23-24
I purchased this series and then sat on it for a while before listening.
I loved this series so much, I wised that I had come across it before others of the author. I loved that while some things you can pick, there were so many things that had me going. 'wow well played'. I absolutely loved that there were many things that I couldn't pick.
I loved that the author didn't just stick with the known fantasy creatures and ventured out. I loved that things were played out just long enough that they didn't become tiresome. I loved that there was depth, humour and true fantasy with this work.
my favourite of JA Andrews so far. I am waiting for the next series to be completed before purchasing.
The narrator was pretty good too.

a starting point before passing editing.
Revisado: 02-23-24
This story should have been edited before being released. there are some great Ideas that are lost due to the way that this is written. when I say these things I am not trying to be mean. I am honestly sharing what these books are like. the style of writing reminds me of the stories that my children write at primary school. I see that there are a number of books in this series. there are so many jumps in the story and then there is too much focus on wasted basic things. for example, the relationship goes form nothing to something, like 0-100. there is too much repeated explanation for everyone.
The narrator has potential but doesn't use his range. he is easy to listen to but only has a couple of voices.
I love books and sadly due to this I will find it easy to not continue with the series.
this series should be one where the author goes back and reworks it into an amazing masterpiece.

this is a great series. I don't agree with the reviews that have issue with the performance so it must be a personal preference sort of thing. it was a great series. I will def be checking out this authors other works when I can.
this is a series that could even work for studying in school or English at uni.
love the series.

Revisado: 10-22-23
I had started to read this series and was having a wee nose at the reviews and noticed someone pointed out that audible has put the first book as the last for listening.
aside from that, this is a really good series. it's hard to note things down without giving things away. it is worth the listen. loved it.

Too sexualised
Revisado: 05-08-23
Too much sexualisation for characters and too much hopelessness. Some bits jump too quickly and others dragged out endlessly.

Focus in the wrong place
Revisado: 05-08-23
This story has potential but lost it completely.
There is significant focus of the sexual relationships for all characters. There is no hope. Everyone tends to loose.

Use of language
Revisado: 01-22-23
I’ve enjoyed this series so far. And then what seems out of no where, the author suddenly adds shit to the vocab of a character. Since this is a character that’s been in it for a while, it doesn’t fit.

Amazing story
Revisado: 11-19-22
This story is well written. The let down is the sexual tones of the reader. Not everything has to be wispy. A series worth reading.
