Historia
Since the days of Nimrod, rooted in the knowledge of the antediluvian watchers, secret societies have been working to usher in human enlightenment, ascend humanity into godhood and provoke a final battle with the Creator. They will get their battle of Armageddon, but they will not win. In Secret Societies Blood Never Sleeps, we study history’s most prominent secret societies and their lasting effects on our culture, religion, government and laws. Should a Christian join a secret society? What role does Nimrod and the Tower of Babel play in the grand scheme?

This book is a rather large and expansive repository of information on history’s secret societies. As someone who has always enjoyed history… I have heard bits and pieces of many of these stories before. With that being said, I learned many new things from this book. I also saw a much more in depth look at some of the things that I had only a glimpse of, from other sources.
Overall I think this was a well researched and in depth look at things that have been in the shadows for most of history. I appreciated Micah’s even handed handling of the subject matter, and the fact that he did not try to force his opinion on the reader.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is at all interested in the history of secret societies.

There are so many misconceptions about Calvinism that it is safe to say that even most Christians do not truly know what it teaches. You may have grown up in a Reformed church, or you may have heard about Calvinism mostly in arguments. Either way, it may surprise you to know that this belief has huge, and very positive, implications for a believer's daily life!

Standard Calvinist apologetic.
Revisado: 03-14-23
Much of this book was just standard Calvinist doctrine and proof texts… until you get to chapter 7. Once I hit chapter 7, I found it very hard to finish the rest of the book. There are more than a few standard calvinist straw men, strewn through the book prior, but once you hit chapter 7 it is a non stop stream of them. Everything is “you believe this or else this”, despite the fact that it is just one non sequitur after another.
I honestly had hoped to gain more respect for the theology of Calvinism, through this book. It has changed nothing. He uses every worn out non sequitur you run into in any conversation with a Calvinist. :(
