Historia
It’s spring and Three Pines is reemerging after the harsh winter. But not everything buried should come alive again. Not everything lying dormant should reemerge. But something has. As the villagers prepare for a special celebration, Armand Gamache and Jean-Guy Beauvoir find themselves increasingly worried. A young man and woman have reappeared in the Sûreté du Québec investigators’ lives after many years. The two were young children when their troubled mother was murdered, leaving them damaged, shattered. Now they’ve arrived in the village of Three Pines. But to what end?

Historia
In 1912, scientist Marie Curie spent two months on the British seaside at the home of Hertha Ayrton, an accomplished mathematician, inventor, and suffragette. At the time, Curie was in the throes of a scandal in France over her affair with Paul Langevin, which threatened to overshadow the accomplishment of her second Nobel Prize. Performed by Kate Mulgrew and Francesca Faridany at the Minetta Lane Theatre, this play by Lauren Gunderson is an ode to two remarkable women.

In Ordinary Grace, Krueger looks back to 1961 to tell the story of Frank Drum, a boy on the cusp of manhood. Splendid!
Revisado: 05-25-14
What did you love best about Ordinary Grace?
Everything! I was thoroughly engaged from the first sentence. I'm selecting it for my book discussion group.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I'd have to say the narrator's father was my favorite character. He seems completely believable and admirable.
Which character – as performed by Rich Orlow – was your favorite?
I thought the reader performed all the characters equally well, but my favorite would have to be the boy/narrator.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Think life was easier in a small town in the twentieth century? Think again...
Any additional comments?
Ordinary Grace is extraordinary, and unforgettable!

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Enthralling!
Revisado: 12-13-11
What made the experience of listening to 11-22-63 the most enjoyable?
The fascinating blend of historical fiction, suspense, sci-fi, and romance kept me enthralled, making my daily four mile runs a pleasure.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jake/ George was my favorite character, because of his sensitivity in his dealings with students, his tenderness to Sadie, and his courage in being willing to go back in time to attempt to change history.
Which scene was your favorite?
I guess I'd have to say it was the last few chapters, which tied up the plot. I really didn't want the story to end, though!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The very last scene had me in tears, a risky thing when on a run, but the scene was definitely worth the risk!
Any additional comments?
For me, 11/22/63 was a trip down memory lane, but the reader need not have come of age in the '60s to appreciate this book. Stephen King is a master storyteller, who, in my view, has outdone himself with this one.
