Are you maximizing your investment opportunities by using dividend trading? Or are you sitting back with stocks that perform poorly and are building your wealth sideways rather than upwards? Nobody can predict the future, but betting on stocks is a likely way to build income for people who know what they’re doing. It’s a great way to lose everything, if you don’t. Investing in dividend stocks is one of the safest, most practical, and highest wealth-building strategies if used as part of a diversified portfolio and grown over time.

Not for beginning investors
Revisado: 11-22-21
In my opinion, unless you have a background in investing you will not be able to follow this book very well. Many terms are used without explanation or definition. The first 2 links I tried to use were dead links. A general statement is given on what you should do, with no follow-up on how to do it,
Examples: Check to see how the stock has performed in leading market indexes. okay - how?
Compare performance as related to other companies in their sector. okay - how? Using what tools,
Perhaps a better title would be Beginning Dividend Investing For Experienced Investors.

Welcome to Gramayre - where witches, warlocks, elves, and gnomes are real; where a spoiled girl-queen and an army of teenage witches, and ragtag beggars battle an overwhelming force of rebel knights and time-travelling anarchists for the future of the most unique, and perhaps most important, planet in the galaxy.

Great Classic, Poor Production
Revisado: 12-21-12
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The audio continually fluctuates and the narrator is always louder than the other actors. This makes it very difficult to listen to the great story. I would have been more satisfied with a straight narrative.
What did you like best about this story?
the blending of medieval and science fiction
What didn’t you like about Dennis F. Regan’s performance?
It is not the performance as much as it is the variation in volume between the narrator and the other actors. I blame the editor/mixer who put the final approval on the audio production
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
I have thought for decades that this would make a great movie. I would go to see it
Any additional comments?
I look forward to the rest of the series being put to audio. Just be a little better on the quality control

Historia
The new question: Ten years after the worldwide bestseller Good to Great, Jim Collins returns to ask: Why do some companies thrive in uncertainty, even chaos, and others do not? In Great by Choice, Collins and his colleague, Morten T. Hansen, enumerate the principles for building a truly great enterprise in unpredictable, tumultuous, and fast-moving times. The new study: Great by Choice distinguishes itself from Collins’s prior work by its focus on the type of unstable environments faced by leaders today.

Dull analysis with little punch, some good info
Revisado: 12-10-12
What would have made Great by Choice better?
The author should have hired another person to narrate. There are some interesting stories, but no meat in the final analysis. I continually find myself zoning out and becoming irritated with him for over emphasizing what seems to be almost every syllable. Continual pauses in the reading for dramatic effect make the book seem amateurish.
When he does finally get to the point it is a classic letdown since everything leading up to it is overdramatized.
What could Jim Collins and Morten T. Hansen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
get to the point. Have a professional reader narrate. Provide specifics to the hows and not generalities.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jim Collins?
anyone!

After university researchers create an artificial poltergeist, the team leader suspects someone is faking the phenomena. When a student is murdered, Blaine is asked to investigate. Stepping into the spirit world, she realizes the haunting may be very real. But that doesn't necessarily mean a ghost did the killing.

Better than the first, much room for improvement
Revisado: 12-10-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
no. The story has weakness in it and there are inconsistencies in the storyline. Conversation is strained and many times not realistic in content or delivery.
Would you be willing to try another book from Kat Richardson? Why or why not?
yes, since there has been improvement from the first.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The Narrator has a long way to go to bring animation to some of the characters. Sometimes the mysterious/dangerous character sounds dull and boring.
Was Poltergeist worth the listening time?
It helped pass the time while driving 600 miles. That was about it

Historia
Kat Richardson excels at creating vivid, fast-moving novels that blend urban fantasy with paranormal mystery. In Greywalker, Seattle P.I. Harper Blaine is viciously attacked and murdered - but after exactly two minutes, somehow she returns to life. Now she's seeing strange things all around her - dark visions from the shadow world - and living a normal life may no longer be possible no matter how hard she tries.

Mucking through Greywalker
Revisado: 08-25-12
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The sentences are blocky and the reader pauses a fraction of a second to long between sentences - adding to the blockyness of the writing. Short choppy sentences are grammatically correct that tell small choppy portions of the overall scene. There is an overabundance of the first person usage of “I” at the beginning of the sentences.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Looking for the inconsistencies throughout the story.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The reader tends to read in monotone, and at a constant rhythm, and under emphasizes dramatic parts of the story. It is not till chapter 15 that the reader appears to develop a sense of the characters and the story begins to develop some cohesiveness.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
There were portions where the reader managed to successfully add accents and character to the voices for ‘some’ of the characters.
Any additional comments?
Through much, especially the first 15 chapters, I felt like I was sitting in an economics class listening to the instructor reciting, “ Bueller….. Bueller….”
Being academically correct in enunciation and pauses between sentences, and after other punctuation, does not lend itself to the telling of a good story. In this case, it contributed to the choppiness of a story that forgets to provide details in an entertaining way and fails to develop characters the listener can enmesh themselves with.
