Webber & Mallon, plus great writing

What I loved: Strong story backed up with excellent narration by both Zach Webber and Erin Mallon.

What did nothing for me: the song titles at the beginning of each chapter. It felt gimmicky.

I’ll still listen to anything by Abby Jimenez!

Slow burn excellence from Zapata & the narrators

The minute Mariana Zapata released Gracie and the Grump, I purchased it in print. I’ve been waiting impatiently for the audiobook. Both narrators did a great job with the text. The only downside is having to wait for the next Zapata book. Absolutely worth the credit.

Loved everything about this book & narration

This story - I don’t know how to encapsulate my reaction. There were parts where I was yelling with laughter. There were parts where I wept. My good friend died of end stage renal failure. His life was extended twice by the gift of 2 kidneys, so he lived almost 20 extra years because of generous organ donors. Post-donation, he had a very successful career and bettered so many lives. Please register to be an organ or marrow donor. Narration- WHOA. Probably the best job I’ve heard in the past 5 years. Thank you for choosing Kyla Garcia, who has the 1st authentic Spanish accent I’ve heard narrating audiobooks. And Zach Webber is superlative with all his narrations, but especially this one. They both brought a lot of acting skills to this novel. This audiobook was worth every bit of the credit I spent on it.

Great story, excellent narrator

Anyone who loves history and adventure wii easily get sucked into this book. The rest of the series is good too. I’ve listened to this book multiple times. Enjoy!

Started slowly but ended great

I wanted to slap the female MC at the beginning but as the story unspooled, I realized that I was guilty of underestimating her, just as many around her did. Jacob Morgan was fantastic, as always, and CJ Bloom did a great job channeling East Coast Barbie.

I started this story thinking that there would be a HEA. There *was* a HEA but not for the person you think. No spoilers, that’s all I will say. I finished the book feeling unsettled.

Maybe the best thing I’ve heard on Audible

So I’ve read Ender’s Game several times and saw the movie, too. But holy cannolis, this full cast of EG was extraordinary. I’ve heard other full cast productions, but they became messy and confusing. Characters didn’t have their own distinctive voices. Not so in this production. I’m pretty sure I’m going to listen again right away. Spend 8 hours on this listen. It’s so worth your time.

Male narrator was excellent

Oh, how I wish I could give this audiobook book more stars. Oh, how I wish Zachary Webber was the only narrator. (He did an amazing job, as always.) Oh, how I wish this book had tighter editing. It wasn’t a bad story. I just had many wishes.
