Historia
In The 4 Pillar Plan, Dr Rangan Chatterjee presents us with an incredibly simple framework for taking control of our health. He divides health into four pillars: diet, rest, sleep and movement. By making small, easily achievable changes in each of these key areas, you can find and maintain good health - and avoid illness. You don't need to excel at any one pillar - what matters is the balance across all the things you do.

This is information we all need. I came to this book from Dr Chatterjee’s podcasts and YouTube videos. Well worth the time. He packs a lot of information and actionable advice into a short, easy to listen to 4-5hour audiobook. Was furiously taking notes. Easy recommendation for anyone serious about living healthier.

Historia
A revolutionary system to get one per cent better every day. People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions – doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes early, or holding a single short phone call. He calls them atomic habits.

Long but worth staying engaged
Revisado: 01-14-19
Today trade attracts a range of strong and conflicting opinions. This book will help place some of those opinions in a useful historical context, providing the lesson that Mankind has been here many times before. I recommend this book as a great history - it covers much more than only trade, and is a relevant read for the times we live in. A good place to start if you're wondering about the trading systems and issues making the news. The cons: this audio book is long and you need to stay engaged (if you're a commuter - this book will take a long time to finish) and the narrator could have brought more to the performance.

Historia
Finance is shrouded in mystery for outsiders, while many insiders are uneasy with the disrepute of their profession. How can finance become more accessible and also recover its nobility? Harvard Business School professor Mihir Desai takes up the cause of restoring humanity to finance. With deft wit, he draws upon a rich knowledge of literature, film, history, and philosophy to explain finance's inner workings.

This isn’t a detailed technical read and so if you’re searching for ‘meat’, this is not the book for you. However if you’re looking for an overview of how concepts central to Finance today have evolved from human experience, and therefore Finance has clear parallels and connections with the real world of human endeavour, this is a good read.
The rest of my audible library is filled with more technical, ‘hard’ books but I’m very glad I have this book in my library to weave it all together and to put Finance in a relevant, real context.

Read this book for an overview of the economies of North and South East Asia, as well as a fascinating introduction into the economics of development. This accessible book is a must read for anyone with an outsiders interest in Asia and those with questions about how economies develop. Loved it.
