Well written, great characters, romance, and a HEA. What more could you want from a rom-com? Oh, right. Laughter! There was plenty laughs to be had in this fun book from Sylvie Stewart.

Jenna is a sweet fiesty single mom who is starting over again after her divorce from her first and only relationship. She's not exactly sure what she's doing yet but Officer Sam Martinez has decided protecting her from herself is now his job. Of course they butt heads but the chemistry is hot and maybe he's just what she needs for her sex reboot/friends with benefits. Her crazy fun sister Jill certainly thinks he is perfect for the job. Jenna is on quite a journey and I couldn't help but go along for the ride.

This is a book for the beach or to just curl up with by a fire. While the book was fun, I just wasn't as impressed with the narrator of the audiobook. I felt that she tried to hard. I still recommend the book but I can only give the overall rating of the audiobook three stars. Go ahead and listen. You may find it is far better than I did.

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of this story. Sylvie Stewart has produced another hit but I'm not surprised. It's well written with a plot that keeps you engaged. It's got southern charm together with pretentious royalty off on a road trip. The brothers, Leonardo and Malcolm, are total opposites, of course. Ruby Green brings in some spunk. This author knows how to bring drama, angst, and great humor to her stories. Let's not forget chemistry and hot romance. Sheesh. ***fans face***

This is a duet so the story does end in a cliff hanger but you don't have to wait long.

The narrator, Meagan Moses, does a fine job of bringing the book to life. She gives each character a voice and personality. She's great with the accents. The characters are each infused with the drama, angst, and humor that makes the story great. The narrator is entertaining and easy to listen to. I recommend this audiobook if you are looking for a warm, humorous story.

Fantastic Rom-Com!

This was a great romantic comedy. The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life. Laney and Nate made the perfect couple. They compliment each other and the chemistry is great. I love them as a couple. And who can forget Rocco, Laney's adorable son and Gavin, Laney's hopeless brother? This story had heart, lots of laughs, and just enough angst to make it a good story. If you are looking for a lighthearted romantic comedy you can't go wrong with this one. Give it a listen.

Horrible Voice

The story was great but the narrator for the book was horrible, especially the male voices. Ineven tried slowing it down but it still grated. It was like nails on a chalkboard. Ruined the whole thing for me.

Awful Performance

I love this book. Brian is one of my favorite book boyfriends. I was excited to get the audio book. Unfortunately, the person chosen to read it for the audio book did an awful job. Maybe she does well on other books but she ruined this one for me. She made the main characters sound like they were on the verge of orgasm through the entire performance. Perhaps she was trying for sexy but it wasn't. It was irritating. Her side characters were better. I tried so hard to accept it but I couldn't. I didn't finish listening to it. I will just settle for reading it to myself.

So Disappointed...

I loved this book...to read. Listening has been very disappointing. The female voice was all right but the male voice ruined it for me. It was so fake and over the top. The same guy did the voice in "Him" and "Us" and did a wonderful job of it. Not sure why he chose to sound like a sleazy used car salesman in this one but he did and I cannot in good conscience rate this above a three stars. I am only giving it three stars because I like the book itself. I wish I'd saved my money and not purchased this one.
