A wonderful end to an amazing series

A lot of writers boof it at the end of a series. Ed did not. This was a magnificent ending. All of the twists, turns, and crazy surprises just kept me going. I won’t lie, how the book seemed like it was going to go about half way through had me very concerned. But, man, he really stuck it. I think he hedged a little bit at the very end to where we might get to see Dante and Blaze again. And I truly hope we can. Even if it’s just a single book.

Interesting story

So the plot is really cool and the magic system is soft but also pretty interesting. The story really draws you in. Which is a very good thing because the narrator can get annoying. He has a good voice but he’ll get into this weird cadence that just really annoys me. The narrator does a great job with all the voices but the cadence is so annoying sometimes.

An amazing conclusion to Era 2!

Sanderson really opened up the cosmere with this book. There are so many connections to the other worlds he has created. I think it was a great end and I hope there’s a third era. Characters got more depth. The magic system some how got even more intricate. It’s simply a wonderful story.

I love this story. I’ve listened to the whole series probably a half dozen times. It’s a very interesting take on gods, magic, and the long lived mortals of this world.

Book 6 is great. It went into a different direction than what I expected. But that’s not a bad thing. The story was exciting with highs and lows. Jason kind of does his thing. It’s darker than the other books and I can’t wait for book 7.

This is like a combination of harry potter, Constantine, and city of ember. Not quite a lit rpg but getting close. It really draws you in.

Bloody good read

The magic system seems to be a kind of soft system, well it’s multiple systems. The story has multiple view points and I very much like that. The author creates an immersive world with characters you can like and loathe at the same time. I highly recommend a listen.

A great new story in the iron druid world

I really enjoyed this story. I cannot wait for a new book to come out. There was one part where I laughed for a solid two minutes and had to rewind the story so I could hear what I missed since I was laughing so hard. (And I’m an american gun nut- you’ll get it when you wise up and buy the book.)
