Not true
Revisado: 05-23-24
I'm sure that Kirk Alyn, and George Reeves were shocked that Christopher Reeves was the first actor to play Superman. See when you make false claims like that, it brings into question your whole book. How many other statements in it are completely false??

Mary Roach dodges hostile fire with the U.S. Marine Corps Paintball Team as part of a study on hearing loss and survivability in combat. She visits the fashion design studio of U.S. Army Natick Labs and learns why a zipper is a problem for a sniper.

Keep your opinions out of your facts
Revisado: 08-24-23
I could do without the authors constant little snide editorializing comments, on war, combat, and the military in general. No doubt they think they are being cute, funny or poignant, yet are none of these. It casts the author in a childish light. Her churlish remarks have no place in this book.

Historia
How George Washington Fleeced the Nation reveals the often hilarious, sometimes shocking, and always highly informative foibles of the great and the good. Einstein, the most brilliant man who lived, regularly forgot his shoes and never learned to drive. Hitler possibly has a Jewish ancestor. Picasso avoided paying restaurant bills by doodling on their napkins instead. Prepared to be shocked, amused, and outraged at what they didn’t teach you in high school.

Highway robbery
Revisado: 08-17-23
This author is a thief. plagiarized over 90% word for word from himself. demand refund for two of his books since all three are identical except for the titles. How George Washington fleeced the nation, Hitler's secret Jewish psychic, and Napoleon's hemorrhoids. Are literally word for word the same book, just arranged differently and with a different title. I consider this an extremely underhanded tactic. The author Phil Mason should be ashamed, his publisher should be ashamed, and Audible should be ashamed for allowing this authors blatant con. I demand $27 USD be refunded, as it was NEVER my intention to buy the SAME book three times in a row. Audible should put a disclaimer on this author and his "three" books. instead of allowing the author to cheat the readers.

Ten amazing things concerning this book: The intelligent designer created reading glasses so that all humans could read the kindle version of this audiobook. Humans need haircuts. Cat hair stops growing at exactly the right length. Humans have butt crack hair because the intelligent designer decided that your bottom would be too hygienic and too easy to clean without it. Humans sometimes choke to death. Dolphins don't. They have a separate breathing tube.

Lameness
Revisado: 11-22-21
Would be a great book IF it could rid itself of LAME one sided political jokes, although I hate to call them jokes as they fall pretty damn flat.
I thought I was listening to a humorous take on intelligent design. Not a partisan political treatise. I bought the second book in this series, however, if this audio book is a taste of what will be in that second book, no thanks. I'll be deleting both, when I want a book with sh*tty political humor I'll buy a political humor book, otherwise leave your political affiliations the F*CK OUT OF IT. REALLY disappointed that they couldn't leave their politics to themselves.

This writer
Revisado: 07-22-21
This writer DOES NOT know where the cargo hatch is on a Firefly. It does not face the back of the ship, as this writer has put it in at least TWO books now.
What?? Couldn't find a writer who had actually seen an episode of the show?? Or an editor?? Maybe someone somewhere can show them an episode or two, and be sure to point out that the cargo hatch, which is the boarding ramp also, faces THE BOW of the ship. Or did Mal get rid of Serenity??
Pretty crappy when the writer can't be bothered by continuity.

Don't waste your time or money!!
Revisado: 06-20-21
Author lazily plagiarized his book Napoleon's Hemorrhoids, not enough new information to make it worth your time or money. I won't ever buy another of his books because of this, and I feel like he owes me a refund.

Historia
Retief, the somewhat reluctant diplomat, does not always follow what his superiors define as "proper procedure". His suave and sardonic approach to intergalactic maneuvering and his attempts to smooth over the bumblings of his other diplomats is documented in this funny story. Keith Laumer adds another delightful episode in Retief's career here.

The Yillian Way
Revisado: 09-27-17
Phil Chenevert is ABSOLUTELY horrendous, was he drunk or high or both?? I have every book in the Retief series, and this drunken drug addict, has ruined it. I could barely get through 40 seconds, let alone 40 minutes, he has NO timing, and NO understanding of punctuation, horrible, horrible narrator, I'm deleting this abomination, and demanding my money back.
