K.M. Shea has yet to disappoint. This is one of her series set in the urban fantasy world of Magiford. I would begin with the Hall of Blood and Mercy series. But you could easily begin with the first of this trilogy, Hunted. These books have action, adventure, family and romance. In this story, Pip discovers the “family” that she has had all along, discovers that she has only to let them in. A wonderful end to an exciting series.

This is one of my favorite books/series by K. M. Shea. I love this Arthurian legend reimagined in this story with a lovely and surprising ending. I love that the threat of the story wasn’t left looming like in many others of Shea’s series. Kitty is one of my favorite authors and this is one of my favorites of her many works.

I began with the Four Kingdoms series and the subsequent series that followed. They were great. Mellanie Cellier had made her place among my favorite fantasy adventure romance authors. Who would have thought that she could top herself,b but she did. This series, about mages and a world caught in a literal and metaphorical blight (caused by rulers who ruled with greed and no empathy) was creative and transportive. I love it!
I went between book and audible. Kira Fixx does a wonderful job of giving unique voice to each character!
