Another lunatic leftist who can't just tell a story. This did not age well knowing what we know now. I hope this author has quit any "reporting" , he is a embarrassment to the term.

Historia
Most locals in Big Timber, Montana learn to live with the wind. Rick Jarrett sought his fortune in it. Like his pioneer ancestors who staked their claims in the Treasure State, he believed in his right to make a living off the land—and its newest precious resource, million-dollar wind. Trouble was, Jarrett’s neighbors were some of the wealthiest and most influential men in America, trophy ranchers who’d come West to enjoy magnificent mountain views, not stare at 500-foot wind turbines.

Revisado: 03-18-25
Could have been a great story. Be forwarned the author is a obvious climate lunatic who is so stupid she believes wind is the answer. There are many studies fom around the world proving wind is not a viable option. The bias in writing is disgusting, how about just facts? Oh and ofcourse, rich man bad. So guessing she is a socialist as well.

Interesting topic but it ends up being a bunch of stories about children getting injured mining. One story is plenty we get it. The focus should have been on money, power and corruption. Author has no specifics on the financial end.

New York Times tech reporter Kashmir Hill was skeptical when she got a tip about a mysterious app called Clearview AI that claimed it could, with 99 percent accuracy, identify anyone based on just one snapshot of their face. The app could supposedly scan a face and, in just seconds, surface every detail of a person’s online life: their name, social media profiles, friends and family members, home address, and photos that they might not have even known existed.

Trump derangement
Revisado: 03-20-24
Had to quit half way through when the author describes George Soros as patriotic Hungarian who grew up under nazi control. All left wing nonsense. Can no one just right a factual book, without a political agenda! Very disappointing, hopefully a real reporter covers this topic in the future without the casual Democrat talking points. please seek help for your mental illness

Historia
In 2007, a short blogpost by Gawker Media outed PayPal founder and billionaire investor Peter Thiel as gay. Thiel's sexuality had been known to close friends and family, but he didn't consider himself a public figure, and believed the information was private. This post would be the casus belli for a meticulously plotted conspiracy that would end nearly a decade later with a $140 million dollar judgment against Gawker and its bankruptcy. Only later would the world learn that Gawker's demise was not incidental - it had been masterminded by Thiel.

If you take out historical quotes, and the hundreds of times conspiracy is said this book is less than 3 hrs. Also this is not a conspiracy!! It's a simple vendetta, one man hires another man and a lawyer, sorry not a conspiracy. This is a very bad writer who wasted a great subject. The only conspiracy was the one that allowed this unskilled "writer" to be published

Derangement
Revisado: 07-18-20
Another author who's succumbed to trump derangement syndrome. I read for entertainment, not to hear a authors views on global warming, immigration, so on. This series had a strong start but, each book has gotten more far fetched with grandiose plots. Count me out moving forward, done with this leftist hack.
