Historia
In Why We Love Serial Killers, criminology professor Dr. Scott Bonn explores our powerful appetite for the macabre, while also providing new and unique insights into the world of the serial killer, including those he has gained from his correspondence with two of the world’s most notorious examples, David Berkowitz ("Son of Sam") and Dennis Rader ("Bind, Torture, Kill").

In-depth but informational

This was a great book that unpacked our fascination with serial killers. He provided the psychology about people and them that ties us to her hidden desires to read, watch, and listen to the horrors they reach.

Historia
Wendy Lower's stunning account of the role of German women on the Eastern Front - not only as plunderers and direct witnesses, but as actual killers - powerfully revises history. Many young nurses, teachers, secretaries, and wives saw the emerging Nazi empire as a kind of "Wild East" of opportunity, yet they could not have imagined what they would do there. Hitler's Furies will challenge our deepest beliefs using evidence hidden for seventy years: Women can be just as brutal as men.

Good book

The narrator was on point and knew exactly how to pronounce words I would have been stuck on. She had the different emotions and strength to keep the story interesting. The book was thorough with lots of research on the woman’s role in the holocaust massacres.
