The Renaissance of the Human Connection
Revisado: 12-14-17
This is a great title! The middle has quite a bit to do with sales development and branding, but the ending chapters are solid gold. There excellent stories of success, failures and the lessons learned. The finish is solid gold. If someone has recommended this book or if you have seen it on the bookshelf of someone you respect, as I did. Go get it. You are ready. Enjoy!

Parenting advice isn't hard to find. There are thousands of books on the subject, as well as a multitude of websites. Much has also been written on the science of child development. What's been lacking, however, are sources of reliable advice that bring together the scientific research and its real-world applications.

Historia
In The Righteous Mind, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores the origins of our divisions and points the way forward to mutual understanding. His starting point is moral intuition - the nearly instantaneous perceptions we all have about other people and the things they do. These intuitions feel like self-evident truths, making us righteously certain that those who see things differently are wrong. Haidt shows us how these intuitions differ across cultures, including the cultures of the political left and right.

Why cant we just get along?
Revisado: 03-17-17
Haidt does a great job of laying a framework for having civil, constructive dialogue with people that have different views than us. He uses good examples to back up his assertions. There is also a good explanation of our current state of politics and the root.
