Great book. Flat Narrator.

This was a great book. I love history and it was interesting how the author used actual moments in history and added the vampire angle, loved it. The reader however was very flat. A really good narrator can change character by the inflection of their voice, narrator had no inflection. However the book is good enough that I would still recommend it as a good listen.

This book should not be put under horror. The only thing scary about this book was how long it took to get to the actual story. I however did enjoy the style of writing (thus the reason I gave it two stars) but the story was more of betrayal and intrigue than of horror. All of you true horror lovers STAY AWAY!
