Historia
The Krysfelt Academy for Girls is the most prestigious academy in the Magocracy, and it’s about to get its first male student… Like most guys, I never expected to see the inside of that fabled place. But when I’m assigned the Enchanter class—previously reserved for girls—an invitation to Krysfelt is part of the deal. To earn my place, I’ll have to win over the fiery headmistress and the monster girl students—catgirls, orcs, wolfgirls, dryads, goblins—you name it… And that’s not even mentioning the pretty (but slightly insane) tiefling girl who believes she and I are destined to bond…

Excellent narration. Glaring issue in story
Revisado: 03-22-25
SPOILERS…
The story isn’t bad by any means. If you enjoy harem LITRPGs then you’ll probably like this one. It’s a typical academy trope.
My issue is with the double standards. Wade is is in trouble for going into a dungeon alone. The staff has to vote on if they let him stay in the academy or not. The vote was 6 to 5 in his favor. That’s fine. BUT Lazy wasn’t in trouble. No one said anything about her going into the dungeon alone. Also the Elf that sent her in the dungeon in the first place. No punishment there either. It doesn’t make sense. If it’s such an issue that the faculty has to have a vote on expelling a student over, but only picking on the one student it takes away from the overall story. To me it feels like very lazy writing. Outline the plot and throw whatever in there and hope it works? I don’t know.
Like I said overall not bad just some glaring holes in the story that just doesn’t make sense. Narration was on point as always with these two.

Fun story with some impressive narration
Revisado: 09-20-24
This was a good story. It kept me engaged the entire time. What really stood out to me was Aurora Bliss’s singing! I didn’t expect singing let alone really good singing.
If you like these types of books you won’t be disappointed with this one.

Historia
I was shredding a monster guitar solo then died on stage in a freak accident. Reborn, I discovered I was a mage with the power to control metal and kick ass! The Goddess of Chaos has set me loose in the Shimmerlands, a magic world under threat by a total buzzkill named Lord Manageer. He's banned magic, music, and everything that brings pleasure to the people. He must be stopped. I'm the first to control metal, ever. The oppressors rely on it, and I can crush their armor, war jeeps, and buildings like tin foil.

Some editing would have made this far better...
Revisado: 10-12-23
The story itself is pretty good. It was tough for me to get into just because of the audio. The female narration was good. The male narration could have been just as good. I don't know why some narrators use two different voices for the MC. If he would have used his inner dialogue voice for the MC it would have been great. But for some reason he chose to use the cheesiest super hero voice for all of the MCs dialogue. It sounds like he's yelling at everyone all of the time. Then it goes back to a decent volume inner dialogue voice. It was very distracting for me an it got to be really annoying after a while.
That aside the mixing, splicing and overall editing of the book was bad. You can tell where they punched in lines. They don't sound like the rest of the narration. Some were recorded with different emotion behind them then punched in. Some sounded like they were recorded in different recording booths. Overall it was very distracting and took away from the story.
I think with a couple beta listeners to give feedback to the narrators before they released the book they could have cleaned up a lot of the issues in the book.
I hope if the 2nd and 3rd books are released at a minimum the main MC sticks with one voice for the main character.

The Demon Lord is dead. The System is broken. Somehow, Elias Hearthsong is neither of these things, despite being at the final battle of the Demon Wars. He is a Master Enchanter, perhaps the last one alive. Determined to keep a promise, he crosses the continent to protect his dead friend's legacy: a crumbling orphanage run by a beautiful kitsune. He isn't a teacher, nor does he have experience with children. But with the love of a few good women, anything can become possible.

Excellent story with some epic narration
Revisado: 01-10-23
This was a great story! The story progressed really well. It kept me engaged the entire time. I can not wait for the second audiobook to come out.
The narration was absolutely amazing. Jessica Threet as always did an absolutely amazing job! She is a master of her craft. The range voices she can do is incredible. She makes each character sound like they could be real people.
Evan did an amazing job as well! Haven’t heard in too many books from him but I hope to hear more. He really does a fantastic job. The two of them together really make this already great story come alive!
If you’re into these kinds of books do yourself a favor and spend the credit. You won’t be disappointed!

Historia
Siege the castle? In my own way. Save the world? If it’s worth my while. Create a bestiary business with a group of beautiful yet contrasting women? Fully achieved. Now the house is too crowded! One moment I'm taking pictures of a fantastic sky beast, aided by a sassy witch, a pretty blonde, and a cute green goblin. The next we’re in bed for the night - and I can't get a lick of covers! This house is too small. It wasn’t meant for this many people and a bestiary business. Problem is, not a lot of folk want a goblin and a witch in their neighborhood. It’s hard to blame them.

Decent continuation of the story. Bad audio quality
Revisado: 06-17-22
The story was okay. I’d have liked it more if there was more on the monsters etc. rather than the romance drama. Still not bad though.
The audio quality however was bad.
All of the male narration was louder than all of the female dialogue. It also sounds kinda scratchy. The first book wasn’t like this and the next book is already out and I listened to the sample and it seems like they’ve got it fixed. They should remaster this one for everyone that is thinking about giving it a listen.
I’ll pick up the next book.

Good story with some very annoying issues
Revisado: 06-06-22
The story itself is great. The narration by Tess was great as always.
However. Explaining the same things over and over again gets old very fast. We are all very aware that when Adam does the spear dance it looks like a damn flower! We get it! Stop explaining it over and over again.
And lastly damage points. Stop just stop. Just say Adam took him apart 1 hit point at a time. Rather than repeating -1, -1, -1 over and over and OVER! Again. Man alive. The area a fight scene was just ridiculous. Does it really need repeated 300 times?
But like I said the story is good. Just be prepared to fast forward at times…
