Entertaining, like visiting with an old friend

LOVED Paget Brewster in Criminal Minds and her voice being central to this audio let me sink into the story with ease and trust. Her voice inflections bring the action to life and several times I caught myself wanting to glance at the screen to see it! The story is intriguing and brings up questions about humanity and our being able to live on this planet together without manipulation. without telling you that answer, the author gives you enough information to decide for yourself. well done

Soul Satisfying

The story has mystery, and the way Dean Koontz unfurls the mystery is, of course, masterful! A Koontz story will always have heart, respect for life and nature and, when we’re lucky: dogs. (This book has dogs and wolves!! Double lucky)

This tale weaves so much other-worldly magic through its characters and situations, the greedy villains barely make a dent in the mood. I love this story, I want to be neighbors, these main characters are the friends I long for…. Self-sufficiency and competence, even when it comes to defending herself with deadly force, our heroine respects life which respects life.

Like many of Dean Koontz’ epic stories (which live in my heart), The Forest of Lost Souls makes the world a better place by reminding us that it is important to be yourself, your unique Self, and honoring others is the gift you give which lasts forever.

As My Chemical Romance (MCR) says: “You only live forever in the light you make.”
And Dean Koontz has given us another book full of that forever light.

Delightful Blood Bath

Maggie's voicing of the various characters is wonderful, the story unusual and engaging. not too long yet long enough to care about the characters, this adventure could easily be "heavier" than the reader portrays and that makes it truly sing!

With 2.5 hrs left in the story, I was so caught up in the drama and tension, I searched the web for how it ends! I didn't want to continue if it ended badly... well, I found reviews of "disappointed" but I think the ending is PERFECT!

Know going in that this tale has so much going on and is so well-written that you may get caught up. I related to the main character: insecure, not knowing her worth, not sure of who to trust. The read is worth it, the audio narration is superb with the right amount of uncertainty coming through!

I enjoy a story where Justice is found. Sydney Rye has been delightful for that and she still has her heart. A believable character, friendships which seem natural and unexpected villains make the Sydney Rye books entertaining and very satisfying.

Enjoyed the authentic flavor and insite shared within the pages. I found great value in his message for myself and growing my own awareness. However, I would have liked to had a chapter on how the masks interact in the realm of energetic polarity. Either way it's a good read and we'll done!
