Historia
Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster. Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee - a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover - a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.

Historia
Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon by the mysterious U.N. Owen. Over dinner, a record begins to play, and the voice of an unseen host accuses each person of hiding a guilty secret. That evening, former reckless driver Tony Marston is found murdered by a deadly dose of cyanide. The tension escalates as the survivors realise the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again...and again.

Epic. So gripping.

I write this as an exhausted father of a toddler and a newborn baby. What was initially planned to be a relaxing hour of story time as the kids were put to bed turned into a vivid imaginative rollercoaster and audible marathon. I’m sure my sleep deprived state contributed to how emotionally drained I was by the climax and twist of the book, but wow. Absolutely loved Christie’s storytelling, as always; and Fraser’s narration is well paced and pleasing. Unfortunately, it is now 4am and a poopy diaper needs attending to, whilst I replay the more gripping parts of the book in my mind.
