She also described several herbs that I had never heard of or read about in other publications. I undoubtedly gained fresh and interesting knowledge. This book describes each herb's benefits, how to grow it from seed, including information on herb seeds that require cold stratification, how to harvest/store, and how to use your herbs. This book is unquestionably essential. I'll refer back to this book for a wide variety of plants and their uses.

The author does a fantastic job of explaining the best ways to utilize herbs as a complement to a healthy lifestyle! Despite the fact that she is not anti-doctors, she provides an excellent summary of what we can do for our bodies to avoid using pharmaceuticals. I really think that we should use what the world has to offer before turning to medication. This book is a mine of information, and the author provides excellent insight!
