I love this book!

I am 56 years old and have been a Christian since I was 12 years old! I’ve gone through severe child abuse and endured many abuses along the way. Having faith in God is something that I’ve always had, but my prayer life has not always been consistent. This book has literally changed that for me. If you want a prayer that covers it all, this is it! It gives that starting point that opens you up enough where you can continue talking to Jesus and let it flow! There are times my phone will ring in the middle of my prayer time or get distracted in my mind. This prayer helps me feel that I have covered myself to face the craziness that awaits me in our world today! Thank you Rhonda for writing this book!

Historia
The true story behind the events that inspired the major motion picture Only the Brave. A "unique and bracing" (Booklist) first-person account by the sole survivor of Arizona's disastrous 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire, which took the lives of 19 "hotshots" - firefighters trained specifically to battle wildfires. Brendan McDonough was on the verge of becoming a hopeless, inveterate heroin addict when he, for the sake of his young daughter, decided to turn his life around. He enlisted in the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a team of elite firefighters based in Prescott, Arizona.

Well done Brendan! God Bless You!

This was a mixture of emotions for me. One of my son's best friends was one of the 19 who perished in the fire. Knowing that, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this, but through the tears off and on, I grew to appreciate perhaps a glimpse the pain that Brendan may feel. I wish Brendan continued healing, as well as love and happiness in his life. God Bless You and may God continue to Bless the families, both personal and professional of the Granite Mountain Fire Fighters.
