Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Historia
Based on interviews with today's cutting-edge scientists, investigative journalist Lynne McTaggart wrote The Field, a compelling presentation of the theory that there is a measurable "life force" in the universe. Now, in this original audio adaptation by the author, McTaggart takes listeners on a journey into this exciting arena of science, called the "Zero-Point Field", that could be the key to understanding "supernatural" forces, healing energy, and the nature of consciousness.

Historia
The narrow stairway inside the mountain led to a door that opened into a huge marble plateau. Upon this stood a stone circle of nine of the largest hunks of polished crystal Tory had ever seen. A turbulent cloud erupted overhead, its core alive with electromagnetic activity. For 20 years the kingdoms of Prydyn, Dumnonia and Dalriada have prospered in peace under the guidance of their High King, Maelgwn of Gwynedd, and his good Queen, Tory.

There was a time when Joanna Sheraton knew nothing of the Void. She was an ordinary computer programmer, toiling in a cubicle in air-conditioned Southern California comfort, unaware that sinister forces had penetrated her universe. But from across the interdimensional divide, an evil mage had put in motion a scheme for eternal life by transferring himself into a computer that feeds on Earth’s life force. Called upon to help by the wizard Antryg, Joanna could do nothing more than delay.

Historia
Outside the great stone Keep of Renweth, the night was the province of the Dark Ones - monstrous creatures that had swarmed out of their eldritch underground caverns to destroy humanity. Inside, where the pitiful remnant of the once-great Realm of Darwath huddled, Chancellor Alwir and Bishop Govannin continued their bitter struggle for dominance. Against all advice, Alwir went ahead with plans to use Ingold, Rudy, and the other wizards in a hopeless, desperate invasion of the Nests of the Dark.

Well finished
Revisado: 06-09-15
Love the trilogy. Love how she ended this. Character voicing is quite good but needs to be. Clarke Linden did not Narrate by the wsy. the narrator was the same as the 1st 2 books. Her mechanical delivery is, at times, nerve grating. Do people actually speak that slow or was she speaking for an audience who are expected to be slow on the uptake?

Historia
As a student of medieval history, Gil Patterson is a woman familiar with dark stories. She knows well the Crusades, the Black Death, and the other horrors of the Middle Ages, but it is another kind of atrocity that has begun to haunt her dreams. She sees forces of evil assaulting a beleaguered kingdom, whose kind people are on the brink of annihilation, and awakes each morning in a cold sweat. Gil dismisses the dreams until a wizard appears in her apartment. He has crossed into her dimension, passing through the fraying fabric of the universe, to ask her help.

Greatc Story...
Revisado: 05-19-15
Sorr, Terri, your mechanical and unnatural style makes you sound more like Siri than a real human. The character voices where fine but the slow, almost robotic, delivery detracted from one of my favourite tales from my early years of reading.

Historia
The death of the Roman Empire is one of the perennial mysteries of world history. Now, in this groundbreaking book, Peter Heather proposes a stunning new solution: Centuries of imperialism turned the neighbors Rome called barbarians into an enemy capable of dismantling an Empire that had dominated their lives for so long. A leading authority on the late Roman Empire and on the barbarians, Heather relates the extraordinary story of how Europe's barbarians, transformed by centuries of contact with Rome on every possible level, eventually pulled the empire apart.

All I can do is stand to appluad. Thank you so much, Traci. This journey has been a wonderous one. From the dark ages to the completion of the Timekeepers in a Universe Parallel you have taken myself, and many others, on a journey of discovery and adventure. All good things come to an end, but new beginnings spring forth. I, we, very much look forward to new adventures to share on a ride through your marvelous imagination and soul connection.
Through your works, many have become more aquaited with their source and the TRUE understanding of our connected oneness. Blessed be, Traci, and again, thank you!

One of the best ever
Revisado: 03-20-15
This book is easily one of the best I have ever read.
Traci, you have really set a very high bar for the last book in the trilogy, and anything you write henceforth.
I was kept on the edge of my seat the whole way through. No let up in the action and mind bending paradoxial twists and turns.
Truly magnificent!
