Body Language As A Critical Strategic Selling Tool
Revisado: 02-26-20
There is much to recommend in this book, a wide array of surprises and valuable information (especially for salespeople) ... and only one watch out. Above all, the content is first rate. Even though the author is not a professional actor (I presume) there is an in-depth knowledge of proven acting methodologies (including “the method”) that he incorporates in his strategies and recommendations for leveraging “body language” to make more sales.
Some of the surprises, especially in a “business book.”: The author is a terrific writer, using metaphors and analogies to make his points more effectively, and memorably. He’s also very funny. The one watch out on this. At times he’s a bit politically incorrect (I.e. “especially if she has terrific legs”) which I guess is a risk one takes when trying to be funny (Chris Rock comes to mind here). It didn’t bother me personally, but as I said, it is a watch out.
The other surprise was the narration. The author narrates his own book and does a very good job. Frankly, when I first started listening, I thought the pace was way too slow. But then as I got into it, I began to appreciate the slower pace and the time it gave me to really think about the provocative content. I also appreciated that the author did such a good job of enunciating his words. I never had to go back — as I do with so many other audio books — and replay something because I couldn’t quite hear what was being said.
So net net, this is a real find for anyone interested in the subject of body language, especially as I said, for salespeople. The information is very “how-to”.... clearly born of real world experience, very practical and immediately applicable, And again, the wonderful writing, the stories the author tells, and the humorous way he tells them, make this book a valuable and fun listen.

I read/listen to hundreds of books and this book is exceptional. Made me re-think the need to experiment with and honor rejection opportunities. Bryan Mattimore. author, 21 Days to a Big Idea.

Historia
This is the dramatic story of the American bomber boys in World War II who brought the war to Hitler’s doorstep. With the narrative power of fiction, this is a harrowing ride through the fire-filled skies over Berlin, Hanover, and Dresden. Fighting at twenty-five thousand feet in thin, freezing air no warriors had encountered before, bomber crews battled new kinds of assaults on body and mind. Air combat was deadly but intermittent: periods of inactivity and anxiety were followed by short bursts of fire and fear.
