Historia
As an engineer on the arkship Pilgrim-9, bound for the Tau Ceti solar system, Morgan Hall thought his life would revolve around maintaining and repairing the ship and supporting the needs of the five thousand colonists aboard. But when he’s roused early from a 240-year stasis, he’s confronted with chaos. Along with his shipmates, Morgan is brought down to a planet teeming with peril. Forced to fight for their survival without any of their tech to hand, they must adapt quickly to overcome countless threats in a world where magic is as real as science.

Good Fun
Revisado: 06-16-23
Good litRPG story. Some of the characters are a little flat, or they are portrayed immaturely in their decision making. I think it’s more for story progression than anything else. Liked the world and story, and the narration is really good. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Historia
Not long ago, Morgan Hall was a simple maintenance tech on a spacecraft bound for Tau Ceti. Then he and his shipmates found themselves unwillingly transplanted to Fanwath, where magic is real, danger abounds, and the almighty “System” grants levels, points, and powers based on one’s individual triumphs. Now, Morgan and his native Ardeni mate, Issa, have founded a growing colony for both their peoples, and they’re able to draw ever more tribes and lifeforms—even some of their former Urghat enemies—into trade and warfare alliances.

Historia
Upon returning to Valia after his journey to Caelford and the Unclaimed Lands, Corin Cadence is confronted with a familiar foe—his own father. While his strength has vastly increased since his last encounter with Magnus Cadence, Corin knows that he’ll need every trick at his disposal—and maybe a few new ones—if he wants to survive a duel with his father intact. While Corin struggles with his family, his friends must face a second year at Lorian Heights with new classes, familiar but new chancellor, and deadly new enemies both on and off the campus.

Continued trials and tribulations…
Revisado: 12-31-22
Andrew Rowe continues to make me smile with this series. This is a fun and enjoyable series with incredibly fun characters. LitRPG style books are not for everyone, but Mr. Rowe has done a good job of creating characters and a setting that would be interesting in a standard fantasy as well.

For five grand a month and a million-dollar chaser, Roger Mulligan didn't care how crazy the old geezer was. All he had to do was keep Joseph Perry Shackleford alive and keep him from squandering the estate for a year. But they didn't tell him about the pixies.

Not what you would think…
Revisado: 08-23-22
The description makes one think that this will be a fish out of water or crazy scene to crazy scene style story, it is not. The story is subtle and kind, and a good listen/read. Magic played a background , though important role to the story. Hey his is more about the characters and the relationships formed, as well as the growth and coming to terms of one’s place in life than fireballs and explosions.
The narration is excellent, and the story enjoyable. A nice book.

Historia
One October morning, Laina gets the news that her brother has been shot and killed by Boston cops. But what looks like a case of police brutality soon reveals something much stranger. Monsters are real. And they want everyone to know it. As creatures from myth and legend come out of the shadows, seeking safety through visibility, their emergence sets off a chain of seemingly unrelated events. Members of a local werewolf pack are threatened into silence.

Good, could be better…
Revisado: 01-14-22
Has a very “American Gods” vibe. The over all story was interesting, and though some have complained about the bouncing around, I did not mind that. It fit the style of the story.
The performance was good, the cadence of the narrator’s voice was sometimes odd, but his voice and voice acting were solid.
Overall I enjoyed the story, and I am very interested in the next installment.
