Historia
Michael returns to fulfill a promise to his love, but the world isn't the same place. Michael just wants a little sleep. The last few days have been a bit of a learning overload after coming back 150 years after he was blown apart by a backpack nuke. The world destroyed itself, there are anti-gravity cars and ships, and his love is in the stars...somewhere. Plus, there is a vampire trying to make Europe his personal fiefdom.

enjoyed!
Revisado: 09-05-18
really enjoyed another Kutherian Gambit book. I especially loved Chris' voice for Michael. as usual lots of action and bad guys getting their karma. I think the only thing that would make any of the kutherian gambit audible books better would be sound effects added. for now my imagination will have to supply 😉

little happiness
Revisado: 01-12-16
fantastic performance narrator ! OK storywise , but, I would have liked better if there was more "goodtimes"? or maybe just plain happiness. The whole book is pretty much sadness, heart break, anger, jealousy. Don't get me wrong, there is a well deserved HEA, but little to no hope up to it. In fact, I was so frustrated with it, I had to stop listening a couple times, to pick up again a few days later , trying hard to finish. While quite the tear jerker the closer to the end I got, I'm glad I finished. The ending, definately worth it.

Historia
Marketing manager Katherine "Kitty" Katt steps into the middle of what appears to be a domestic dispute turned ugly. And it only gets uglier when the man turns into a winged monster, straight out of a grade-Z horror movie, and goes on a killing spree. Though Kitty should probably run away, she springs into action to take the monster down. In the middle of the chaos, a handsome hunk named Jeff Martini appears, sent by the "agency" to perform crowd control. He's Kitty's kind of guy, no matter what planet he's from. And from now on, for Kitty, things are going to be sexy, dangerous, wild, and out of this world.

voice ruins a fantastic book
Revisado: 07-21-14
Would you try another book from Gini Koch and/or Romy Nordlinger?
I love Gini Koch's books, especially the Alien Novel Series. I was ecstatic when I saw the audible version. Quickly found that not all narrators fit the book. I am unsure if I will purchase another book narrated by Romy Norlinger. She does read well, its just she doesn't fit these characters at all. Kitty's voice sounds elderly or scratchy, not that of a woman in her late twenties and doesn't smoke. The men's are even worse.
What did you like best about this story?
I love this whole series. I llike that even with all their advances in technology and genetics, a human saves the day. The action is thrilling. The romance felt real even though aliens are involved. Really liked how Gini is able to involve real issues of our world and make a HEA.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Her voices do not fit the characters at all. She also didn't change up to normal during nonvoice areas, so could get a little confusing, is that Kitty, oh no, just narration about whats going on.
Any additional comments?
This book will not link up whispersinc wise on any of my all updated devices, including my kindle fire hd. So not able to switch back and forth or read a long with narration.

Loved the extras!
Revisado: 01-30-13
If you could sum up Dark Prince in three words, what would they be?
I have read the paperback of the original, and ofcourse have the ebook, when I came across this "authors cut", had to to give it a go! I loved the little extras in this edition. It made it more complete.
As for the audible version, I felt it was pretty good, I didnt like how slow the narrator did Prince Mikhail's voice---I mean i do get it at first as he is unable to feel emotion so he voice would be monotoned, but it didnt seem to get enough more of emotion as it should, since he is all of a sudden bombarded with them since finding his lifemate. I also didnt like that Mikhail didnt have an accent as ive heard in other versions. These two things aside, Its a great book and start to a thrilling series that takes many twists and turns along the way through I think around book 20 now. Do enjoy! I did!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I think Christine Feehan made each character interesting, made it easy to want to check out the next book to get closer to these characters.
Which character – as performed by Abby Craden – was your favorite?
I feel Abby did the best performing "Raven" she matched what I would picture as Raven well.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yest definately.
Any additional comments?
eager to listen to other books in this series.
