I usually love all Shari Lapena’s books but this one was disappointing. I didn’t like a single character, therefore didn’t really care what happened to them. The main little girl character was just unbelievable in her actions and there seemed to be way too many side characters the blame was trying to be placed on with no real evidence or explanation. I ended up turning the listening speed up to get to the end quickly. All in all, not my favorite.

This book just wasn’t for me. As a thriller, suspense fan, I just found a lot lacking with the storyline. There just wasn’t enough excitement to keep me entertained. I ended up increasing the listening speed so I could just get it over with.

If you’re a thriller/suspense fan trying to branch out, maybe skip this one.

This book had good reviews so thought I’d give it a go. I barely made it through chapter 7 before calling it quits, and I’m usually pretty easy to please with these types of books. Nothing about the book made me want to keep reading and none of the characters were very likable. Also I couldn’t get past the names of some of the characters. Panda? Kanga? Ended up being a return for me.

I really wanted to like this book because it seemed so hyped up, but it just kind of fell flat for me. The beginning and middle were very fast paced and kept you guessing, so I was confused as to why the ending wasn’t as good as the rest of the book. I kept waiting for a big dramatic moment to happen but it didn’t really materialize.

I feel like this book could’ve been 10 times better if it were told from Hannah‘s perspective as well as Owen’s. I feel like that would’ve made it feel like a more complete story.

the writing, the reading , the story all take me back to watching TV and looking over my shoulder so the creatures didn't get me!!!! we need more of this kind of story.

Not bad for a quick listen

Wasn’t a bad book for such a short time. It was a little predictable (one of the twists was pretty obvious), but the author did a good job making it interesting. Overall good for a free book so give it a listen if you have a few hrs to kill.

Ok this would have been an ok fiction book NOT Faction Alten would have you believe.

1. Steven Greer is a KNOW scam artist and horsesh!t huckster. To even include this fake in any way and suggest he’s for real. Is like like having David Icke in the book as a bonified reporter.

2. The entire thought energy and leading UFOs with thought power for interdenominational UFOs is just stupid. I know it’s fake but damn talk about pulling you out of story

3. How much did Geeer get paid or make off dupes buying into his stupidity??? I like Stevens other books but damn, this is a Ancient Aliens episode on meth.....


Steve dump this douche you have attached to and get back to good writing
