Half a book
Revisado: 06-16-18
It ends abruptly. The author is now milking the series to be as many books as possible. Books in a serried need to be self-contained. It also recycles the same old jokes. I’m done with this series and regret ever starting it. The narration is pretty full too. The characters are not distinguishable from one another. You can’t even tell when a female character is speaking.

Historia
Bob Johansson didn't believe in an afterlife, so waking up after being killed in a car accident was a shock. To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe. Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece.

I feel like it's milking for more credit at this point. There was no natural ending to this book. I love the Bob series but at least try to minimize abrupt endings.

Pronunciation is perfect
Revisado: 05-31-17
Great story as well but I'm leaving a review particularly on the narration. I'm Burmese (from Myanmar). In my experience, there are very few people who know how to pronounce Burmese words properly even the name of the country itself. The narrator's pronunciation is simply perfect.

Historia
For 18 years, Bruce Bueno de Mesquita and Alastair Smith have been revolutionizing the study of politics by turning conventional wisdom on its head. They start from a single assertion: Leaders do whatever keeps them in power. They don't care about the "national interest" - or even their subjects - unless they have to. This clever and accessible book shows that the difference between tyrants and democrats is just a convenient fiction.

I like how the book doesn't hold back. You know a book is worthwhile when it makes you question your beliefs.

One bad narration
Revisado: 07-16-16
The performance for Brawne Lamia was terrible. It's like the narrator does not care about the context at all. She uses this chippy school girl voice even in very serious situations.

Historia
This landmark book is for those of us who prefer words to equations; this is the story of the ultimate quest for knowledge, the ongoing search for the secrets at the heart of time and space. Its author, Stephen W. Hawking, is arguably the greatest mind since Einstein. From the vantage point of the wheelchair, where he has spent the last 20 years trapped by Lou Gehrig's disease, Professor Hawking has transformed our view of the universe. A Brief History of Time is Hawking's classic introduction to today's most important scientific ideas.

I brought it during 2 for one sale I can't even return it for credit unless I return the other book which I've already read. You cannot trust the star rating because the fundamentalists are probably the one ones who buy this garbage.
