I could have done without te racie rave scene. I appreciate reading Debbie Macomber books because I know they're clean, that was a little too much. Other than that it was another great story with a great narrator.

another wonderful Debbie Macomber Book

This has been one of my favorite books from Debbie. Nothing droned on and on repeatedly as some of her books do, had a variety of characters you don't get bored with. Narrator was great. Good story line with many things happening, but not in a confusing way. I could have done without the chiming between chapters but not a deal breaker. Also the length of the book was perfect.

Not your typical romance novel. The narrator was really hard to listen to, if it weren't for the content I'd have returned the book. If this had been my first JP book I also would have returned it. The narrator was breathy or something. had to work really hard to ignore her. Wonderful story.

This wasn't my favorite story from Debbie Macomber. The first ten chapters were extremely slow and repetitive. Many times throughout the book there was repeat info, like it didn't get edited properly or something. The narrator was slow and dreary. Overall story line was a painful, heart wrenching read.

Any book by Debbie Macomber is a must read! She is getting me through post covid syndrome while my brain doesn't work properly amd my body doesn't either and many days all I can do is sit and listen to an audio book. Her story lines are wonderful, the characters are all so incredibly different from eachother. This one is so very real to life. Love the way her daughter comes home yelling, "mom!" all the time. The narrators also do a great job in every book, particularly this one. A wonderful listen that is hard to put down.

Great Series!

Kids say: "very realistic. She doesn't write about dogs before she knows what they're like."
"I like Henry Huggins because the dog and the boy loved eachother."
It's clean, quality reading my kids loved listening to. As a mom, the narrator was a little annoying at times with some of the characters. High pitched and loud are hard to listen to.

"I liked the adventures and that they were all good except for one evil person. There was lots of detail in it." -seven year old girl

"I liked everything!" -ten year old boy

This story held their attention well. Loved the different voices in it, not your typical read aloud novel. In the end, nothing tragic has happened and good wins over evil. Love the vocabulary in it as well.
