Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

not just another work out,Re-told Goggins nterview
Revisado: 01-18-19
I was a little reluctant to pick this up. I've seen most if not all of his interviews on YouTube. This story gives you much better insight into the man and his accomplishments. I was impressed by his openness and his admissions of his failures. his level of intensity is obviously uncommon. there is however lessons for us all to grow by.
I appreciate the format which mixes original interviews and the text of the book. I'd listen to it again but that would be inefficient in Goggins opinion! Charge on!

Historia
Triathlon: Winning at 70.3 is dedicated to all triathletes who are thinking about stepping up to the middle distance. 70.3 Half Ironman training requires quite a different approach to the shorter distances, and to be successful, a more professional approach to training is required. Do not set yourself up for failure on race day! Simply doubling your Olympic distance training will not work. Those who do this will struggle. Do not be one of these! 70.3 triathlon is a serious step up and preparation is key.

not a very honest story
Revisado: 12-20-16
how can you write an unabridged account of the cycling profession from the turn of the century and not discuss the prominence of doping? through the entire account, there might have been 4 Whispers of other opponents doping history. To not admit to to the United States Postal Service team use of performance enhancing drugs is dishonest. as a result, this story is good but not great. To deny the success of the authors teams due to performance enhancing drugs is as deplorable as Lance Armstrong's great lie.
