Let's start postive. Like Daniels did an amazing job narrating.

That's all I have to say that's good.

Don't waste your time here. I'm returning for a refund. The author is not giving enough thought to an actual plot of his books. Everything was explained away by this line "it happens this way because it happened this way"

It seems like Scott Meyer was in a bad mood when he wrote it because over and over again it goes back to relationships and back forth arguments that have little to do with the poorly constructed plot.

The first 3 in this series were a hit. I loved them. The last 2 were just so far beyond bad I can't even accurately explain it.

I love these characters and the idea of the books, but come on man spend a little time developing a plot that makes sense and maybe has a few twists.

instead, 75% of the book is spent trying to fix a problem that the characters admit to creating (weird paradox) and the rest of the book about a banana stuck in a tailpipe. Yes, I'm serious.

Stay far away from this one!

Loved this One, for So Many Reasons

I Love everything that Mark writes. I can honestly say that In a Pit With a Lion is my favorite book of all time.

This book was no surprise. It was a wonderful read and a reminder of who God is and who Jesus is. His words here are God ordained.

I recommend this book to anyone feeling a little off or maybe wondering what it's all for? what is my place in this vast universe?

Mark's story telling is on point here as usual, and I laughed and cried and nodded my head throughout. I can honestly say that his writing has changed my life for the better.

Are you willing to wait on this? Or are you ready to seize your destiny and put your hope and trust in Jesus? The Grave Robber is calling you, will you listen?

What did I just listen too??

As I was listening the book kept getting stranger and stranger. I would even go as far as to call it "trippy."

My wife and I listened to it over a series of several car rides, and we both felt relief when it was over.

The plot was all over the place, and you are left scratching your head at the end of every chapter, and even at the end of the book.

I hate to say it (as an author I really do hate to say it...) but steer clear of this one. The ideas were good but the story is not told in a way that makes a lot of sense.
