Excrutiating.
Revisado: 05-21-18
This started slowly, then sort of petered out at the end.
The dialogue was unnatural and clipped. The story vague and disjointed. The plot incongruous.
I would not recommend this to anyone. If I had not received this book as a free addition to a buy one, get one free deal, I would have asked for my money back.
Even so, I feel I was over charged.

A bumper collection of classic fun and games from one of BBC Radio 4's best-loved and most enduring comedy panel games. The inimitable Humphrey Lyttelton is in the chair for these 36 hilarious editions, collected together for the first time. Lots of fun.
Revisado: 04-30-18
Generally an entertaining listen.
The first couple of episodes are very entertaining and we’re good for a few raucous laughs.
Unfortunately there are a number of episodes to the end when the show was taken on the road that are very repetitive.
I am sure that listening to these episodes once a week would have been fine, but hearing them played one after the other was not as entertaining.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Another great story.
Revisado: 11-29-17
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It had the feel of noir Sam Spade type of storytelling folded in with a healthy dollop of Sam Gun.
The characters are believable and the story contains sufficient science and nerdology to make it enjoyable to a nerdy audience.
I sincerely hope that Andy Weir is planning a long series with Jas and the community on Artemis.
I would love to see this as a TV mini series.

Sensory overload.
Revisado: 10-11-17
This book is required reading for anyone that has ever watched a complete episode of Star Trek, Battle Star Galactica, Star Wars or has ever considered attending a cosplay event.
The story premise is not new, but We Are Legion (We Are Bob) certainly explores this in a wonderfully light hearted way.
The story pacing is superb. There is humour, suspense, exploration, introspection. This story has a bit of everything yet still manages to maintain focus.
The audio book is masterfully done. Ray Porter brings the characters alive with distinct voices for the characters.
The end arrived way too soon. It left me satisfied yet longing for more. The perfect time to light up cigarette and bask in the afterglow, if only I smoked.

Inspirational
Revisado: 08-11-17
This book was an inspirational listen well worth the time spent.
I loved hearing about the life of Conan the Barbarian. Listening to his history from Austria to the governor of California is uplifting and fun.
As with any good story, the character that Arnold presents is heroic with some flaws.
As I am not an American and do not live in California, some of the politics was uninteresting and because I do not identify ideologically as either Democrat or Republican I will not comment on his success or otherwise.
The only disappointment was that Arnold only read the first and last chapters. I would have loved to hear this all in Arnold's voice.

Historia
In this grand poetic vision of the universe, Lawrence Krauss tells the dramatic story of the discovery of the hidden world that underlies reality - and our place within it. Reality is not what you think or sense - it’s weird, wild, and counterintuitive, and its inner workings seem at least as implausible as the idea that something can come from nothing. With his trademark wit and accessible style, Krauss leads us to realms so small that they are invisible to microscopes, to the birth and rebirth of light, and into the natural forces that govern our existence.

Wonderful read/listen.
Revisado: 04-04-17
I was concerned that this sort of book may not be suited to an audible book because of continued references to figures and images from the printed version.
To make this a little less jarring, and confusing a PDF file is supplied with the requisite images.
If you are going to listen while driving, please take a long hard look at the images so that you can bring them to mind when mentioned in the book.
I will need to listen through again, as there is a lot that I do not yet understand.

This course is an interesting overview of the spy game past and present. The lecturer paints an interesting montage of espionage from antiquity to modern times.
The course is in need of revision as the Manning court martial and Snowden affair are not mentioned.

Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

A wonderful collection of crazy what if science questions.
High in geek value because it is read by Wil Wheaton. But that is not all. The stories have a generous smattering of Star Wars, and Firefly references for flavour.
Highly recommended.
