Historia
One small handwritten letter, sent from a dark, remote corner of the planet and lost in the system for 60 years, is about to change the entire human race. Outside Denver, Colorado, Joe Rickards stands over a small aircraft wreckage, studying burnt remains still smoldering in a field of freshly fallen snow. He's an investigator for the NTSB, working to carefully roll back the last several hours and identify the cause of the accident. But this time, he can't.

This story pulled me in slowly but Inexorably. this was one of those audiobooks that make you keep driving, just to keep listening. Such vivid descriptions—I watched it unfold just like I was watching a movie!

Everyone thinks fourteen-year-old Violet is a murderer. After a summer-night swim with her best friend, Ainsley, Violet is found confused, wandering in the forest - and Ainsley’s never seen again. But without a body, murder charges won’t stick, so Violet is sent away. Narrators saved the book
Revisado: 12-03-19
I found this book to be OK but nothing spectacular. A few plot twists, a few improbable events, nothing much original. The Narrator reading for the character Delaney was spectacular – she gave me shivers with the combination of accent, tone, and personality.

Historia
Homicide detective Bryan Clauser is losing his mind. How else to explain the dreams he keeps having - dreams that mirror, with impossible accuracy, the gruesome serial murders taking place all over San Francisco? How else to explain the feelings these dreams provoke in him - not disgust, not horror, but excitement? As Bryan and his longtime partner, Lawrence 'Pookie' Chang, investigate the murders, they learn that things are even stranger than they at first seem.

Sigler never disappoints, plus perfect narration

I will even add Compliments for the production! If creepy flesh eating monsters aren’t your thing, I’m actually sorry that you will miss this performance. I’m a fan. I’ve Consumed countless hours of audio book listening time, and this narrator is as good as any I have ever heard, and better than most. With the enhancements of the production, this is a fun ride. Come on Scott, Telus: will there be a sequel?

Glad I didn’t give up
Revisado: 02-10-19
This was my second William Gay book. Little Sister Death captivated me so completely that I had to read more. The first section of the book, I just couldn’t get into it. I wasn’t getting that compelling flow that I wanted more of. I had just about decided that I’d given it a fair chance and was about to quit. Then suddenly it was part two, and there was some sort of shift. Maybe it was inside me and maybe it was really the improved quality of the narrator and the improved rhythm of the writing. For whatever reason, it was finally the book I had expected and we were off to the races then! This book continues to build my belief that this author Is equal to William Faulkner. I am very sorry that he died already, both because he doesn’t write anymore and because I won’t get to throw myself at his feet with reverence and awe.

Expert story craft

Excellent story and I’m glad I read it! The author skillfully evoked each setting and emotional layer artfully. From languid Florida days it builds to a speeding train that I couldn’t stop listening to.

Remarkable
Revisado: 06-16-18
Every time I thought I knew how it would come out, there was another twist to the story. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the performance. For my taste the narration was a tad languorous but I set the playback to 1.25 and it worked for me.

Quite a ride!
Revisado: 11-26-17
I can’t decide if the book was better because of the narrator or vice versa. Thoroughly enjoyed Sigler’s work as usual. Narrator gets 2 thumbs up for his outstanding focalizations of characters.
