Historia
Flying Camelot brings us back to the post-Vietnam era, when the US Air Force launched two new, state-of-the art fighter aircraft: the F-15 Eagle and the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Michael W. Hankins delves deep into the fighter pilot culture that gave rise to both designs, showing how a small but vocal group of pilots, engineers, and analysts in the Department of Defense weaponized their own culture to affect technological development and larger political change.

Revisado: 12-15-23
It seems like this book was written to not only hammer the fighter pilot ethos, but to discredit or slight Boyd at every turn. It’s an interesting study into the ideas the author has, but it’s so slanted that it’s hard to concentrate. It also sounds like it was recorded on a phone booth.

Historia
Republicans are in a losing period. The last election should have been a wake-up call for the current moment. If the GOP wants to turn its luck around, it’s time to toss the old playbook and find new ways to win elections and attract enthusiastic voters. Like a well-timed coaching hire, Clay Travis is here to break down exactly how the Republican party can turn a few losing seasons into a championship run, and provides a surefire gameplan inspired by winning strategies in sports that will finally give conservatives an edge over the competition.

Finally, a blueprint that can work.
Revisado: 08-16-23
This is easily one of the books I’ll be hanging out to friends and family alike. So many people are looking for a reason to root for this Country, and this blueprint goes a long way is seeing how we can do that.

Historia
After the latest mission of the starship Flying Dutchman, Earth is safe not just for a year, but for hundreds of years. The ship’s weary crew wonders what they will do with their lives in peacetime, but the enemy has other plans, and there is danger on the Homefront. Starring Zachary Quinto, R.C. Bray, Kate Mulgrew, Robert Picardo, and everyone's favorite AI, Skippy the Magnificent, alongside a full cast. Includes plenty of pew-pew-pew, original sound composition, and maybe some singing by R.C. Bray.

Great effort with potential, not the best executed

Loved the story...not too big on the format.
Revisado: 07-17-19
I really enjoyed this story, and I am 100% invested in these characters, but the execution could have been so much better. The music was overwhelming and covered the voice acting on numerous occasions. Additionally, the voices sometimes sounded like they were recorded in a tin can. Lastly, and this has zero to do with this book, but if this series ever gets made into a movie/Netflix-style series, and RC Bray isn't cast as Skippy, we are going to riot, count on it! Looking forward to the next books in the series.

Historia
While the crew of the UN Expeditionary Force's pirate starship Flying Dutchman are enjoying a luxury vacation cruise (not!), UNEF troops are still stranded on an alien-controlled planet. Major Emily Perkins and her team are busy picking up the pieces, and it's not easy, because there is trouble on Paradise...

RC Bray...amazing.
Revisado: 10-13-17
I bought this book because the first three were so good, but I wasn't sure I would like this as it was shorter, and it didn't focus on the characters I had become invested in over the first three volumes. But I found myself enjoying this book so much, mostly because of RC Bray. He could narrate a book on theoretical physics and make it entertaining. When the character Nert was being taught the "up your's" gesture, I was almost in tears. Yay for Nerd Dandruff, and I will buy any book that RC Bray narrates!

Loved the book, despised the censorship...

Any additional comments?
This is the first Hemingway book that I have read. I enjoyed it greatly for a variety of reasons. Hemingway does a phenomenal job with describing everything from the settings, to the characters in the novel. I really enjoyed the dialogue between Jordan and the voice in his head. I would recommend this book wholeheartedly except for the fact that the "strong language" was edited out, and I did not know about that prior to purchase. Had I known that, I would have bought the print version.
