"I once was homeless, hungry, and afraid. I was cast away by society, deemed a street urchin not worth their time. I felt as if I was a ghost fading into the wind. Over the years, homeless people have been looked at as a problem. When in truths, they are not. They are not a political issue or a scourge. When I was homeless I came across a wide range of people. With stories that deserve to be told. Maybe these poems will change something.... Maybe they won't.... All that matters is that they change you."

When you sit and listen to this book you have to think back and wonder how many of these people have I ran in to. It is crazy to think the extra change in your car can make a world of difference. This book makes you wonder. it is truly an eye opener and it makes you heart sink all at the same time. I plan on purchasing the actual book, and all of the books from this author. Great and inspiring. Knowledgeable and truthful.
