Narrator mispronounces common words.

The narrator doesn’t know how to pronounce clitoris! Every time she says it in all the books she narrates, I cringe.

Narrator was horrible.

Terrible narrator. Inflections, emphasis, voices, whine sounding. All of it is just off. After being invested in many of the characters from the previous books, it’s sad that this narrator missed the mark so much.

British narrator’s American accent was appalling

Book is ok. I’ve never been a huge fan of the narrator reading Ruby, the abruptness of her delivery leaves much to be desired.
But the narrator reading Emily - her British narration was great, but the American accent was truly appalling. I have never heard anyone sound like that - I almost couldn’t even listen to it. I had to power through.

Great story and storyline, but…

The story was great, the writing was great for the most part. However, what the heck happened at the end? I feel like the author was against a deadline and just sent it in to the publisher without finishing. It is essentially unfinished. This is disappointing after reading book 2 (which I read first).

Sadly a miss…

Sadly this one is a miss for me. There wasn’t much to the whole story - just the same thing coming up and dragging out throughout the whole book. I absolute love Radclyffe’s books, but this one was just OK.
Narration was just ok. Weird accent that has no place in NY. Narrator read the wrong name a few times which caused confusion. She said Natalie sometimes when it was supposed to be Leslie and vice versa.

I general, I enjoyed the book. Some of it seemed a bit far fetched, and I thought the way it ended was somewhat lacking. The Lauren ending seemed odd.

I guessed the murderer early on, but changed my mind a few times.
Tatiana Sokolov did a great job with narration.

I definitely would read more from this author.

Narration voices annoying

I usually don’t dislike Lori Prince as much as I do in this story. She makes Fallon sound like an idiot and shouts a lot. The story was nice.

Thoroughly enjoyable

I was pleasantly surprised by this book - especially after reading some of the reviews.
I enjoyed the details and the story that went along with all the medical procedures.
I do wish we learned more about Nadia’s background. I can’t even recall if they even mentioned her parents or family.
As always, Abby Craden is phenomenal - she has always been my favorite narrator!

The book/story was great. However, it would have been so much better with fewer chapters. I would have loved a little more after they got together and less of the angst leading up to it. Other than that - great job by Lori Prince. I wish she’d learn how to pronounce timbre (tamber).

I’m only a few chapters in, but can’t stand this narrator. Not sure why she’s making Flan sound like a bright and bubbly little thing - especially after the great narration in the prior book. At times, it sounds like she’s reporting the news….
